FIV Positive – Comes with Free Vet Care for Life

My folks had hearts of gold and, like many people, just couldn’t say “no” when a stray arrived in their yard. When, after a few years, they’d accumulated 20 of us, they realized that they needed help finding us safe homes and medical care and TALGV’s Outreach Program came to the rescue. I’m not quite sure how I got my name, because I’m really a very sweet and loving girl, who, mom says, “plays well with others, understands ‘no’ and ‘get down,’ likes to watch kitchen activities, and likes any kind of toys.” So even though I’m FIV-positive, at my young age I’ve got many years ahead of me to share that love (plus I come with Free Vet Care for Life)!

B B

Hi… my name is B B.

Adopted June 6, 2015

When the new baby in my home was born with a heart defect, my people understandably had to spend a lot of time at the hospital and at home caring for him, so they simply didn’t have time for a big gal like me. I lived with them for most of my life, and they said that although I was a high-energy, high-spirited girl, I loved and was gentle with their kids. A friend took me in for a few months, but the little resident terrier (who didn’t like anyone but her mom and the kids) wasn’t about to make a concession for me! So — here I am in all my beauteous glory — a smart, happy 2-3-year-old American bulldog gal who just wants a family to love! Could it be yours?

Hi… my name is Tarzan.

Adopted March 30, 2015

If you ever needed an example of “exponential,” then my siblings and I are it! It started, as it always does, with two unneutered cats back in 2013, and here we are, now 15 total (there were more, but they didn’t make it). We were all forsaken by our owner, but at least she left age and personality information about us on our carriers, and judging by our health and temperament, we were all very much loved once. My little “bio” said, “Tarzan is a lover who loves to sleep under the covers with you, but is super playful when he’s awake!” Well I, for one, can’t imagine a better combination to have around so “do the right thing” and make that happen for me!

The volunteers are having a terrible time choosing a favorite among my brothers (Michael, Zie, and Biggun) and me because we’re all sweet, outgoing, and engage in all the typically endearing kitten things that make you fall in love. You could make their choice lots easier by taking one or two of us home!

I’m basically a lovebug, so why not let me play my way into your heart?

If you’re wondering about my name, my “bio” said, “When a very small kitten, if you picked her up, she acted like a fainting goat and would fall over on her side, seemingly paralyzed!” (There are such things — look it up!) Anyway, I’m still a fall-over-in-your-arms lover, and would adore having yours around me!
