Hi… my name is Lily (aka Milgard),

As a kitten I was found with my siblings in a carport. My brother and I were adopted into a home where our owners were gone much of the time. We kittens went a little wild! We came back to The Animal League and found a new home.  However, my brother bullied me, and then dad got sick and had to return us to The Animal League. Without my brother I blossomed into a friendly girl and was adopted again. I had a couple of episodes of nipping, which I admit isn’t good. So here I am for the fourth time, hoping for another chance. I love brushing and laps. Please come give me another chance!                                 (2-2026)

If you are considering adoption, stop in at TALGV to meet me soon. Or you may call TALGV office (520-625-3170) and make an appointment. Kennel hours are between 10 and 2 every day.

Hi… my name is Charlie,

Adopted 2-7-26

If I look like I’m smiling, it’s because I am. I’ve had a taste of the good life and know just how great a real home can be. I was recently in a home and thrived as an active companion—running alongside my person on bike rides (while leashed), enjoying structure, and showing off my excellent manners. I’m housetrained, incredibly smart, loyal to my people, and polite with dogs of all sizes. I rarely bark, pick things up quickly, and love having a job or routine to keep my brain busy. One thing to know about me: I’m an adventurous thinker and can jump walls, so I need a very secure yard and a family that gives me plenty of reasons to stay close. With the right setup, I’m an amazing partner ready to commit for life.

Hi… my name is Auto,

Adopted 3-8-26

After mom passed away we four cats were too much for dad to care for. Almost a year ago we all came to The Animal League hoping for a new beginning. I quickly found the top perch on a cat tree and in no time I also found a new home. That didn’t work out, so now I’m back! The volunteers come around to pet me and I crave their attention, rolling over and purring to show my appreciation. I’m a big boy with a handsome tabby and white coat. My eyes have a mysterious green tint. I’m looking to start the next chapter in my life with someone who can shower me with love.  (2-26)

Hi… my name is Whiskey,

Adopted 2-27-26

After being rescued from a busy road after hours of patient coaxing by some amazing volunteers, I decided life is better with humans and another doggie friend. I’m now in a foster home and follow my foster mom like a happy little shadow, with foster dad as my solid #2 fan—and I even have a canine foster sister to play with. I’m about 90% potty-trained (and am working hard to ace this), love cozy cuddles, and only bark when there’s something worth mentioning. I’m a joy to have around, especially when it’s time for zoomies—but fair warning, I can hop a 4′ wall, so a secure yard is a must. If you’re looking for a gentle, loyal buddy who will adore you completely, I’m ready to come home.

Hi… my name is Reuben,

RAINBOW BRIGE 1-26-26

At just 14 pounds, I may look like a puff of fluff, but make no mistake—I run a tight ship. I’m a disciplined little fellow who believes the day should begin by 5 a.m. at the latest.  No soldier ever overslept on my watch! I’m house-trained, leash-trained, and crate-trained, and I take my duties seriously: maintaining order, alerting you to any suspicious noises, and enforcing routine. Thunderstorms are my only weakness—I prefer to bunker down in a covered crate until the skies clear. I love car rides, tolerate the groomer’s nonsense, and consider myself commander-in-chief of the household. My ideal post? A quiet home with one loyal human, no other pets, and plenty of respect for my rank. Follow protocol, and I’ll be your devoted little shadow—early mornings guaranteed.  (10-25)

Being outside is not for me! Someday soon I’d like to have another home. Are you looking for me? I’m looking for you! Please come take me home!
