COMES WITH VET CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE

Intelligent, loyal, handsome, playful…just a few words my friends use to describe me. Oh, I forgot “great kisser!” I prefer routine and a quiet life. Social butterflies need not apply. As a discerning gentleman, I need time to build a relationship based on trust. My friends agree I’m more than worth the effort as they are rewarded with the REAL me: Greeting them with a happy dance, favorite toy and love. I should add I have impeccable house manners, too.   have several dog friends at TALGV and enjoy going on walks with them. As with people, I would need time to decide if they should be part of my circle.  The icing on the cake? I come with Vet Care Support for Life! Perhaps “yours” is the word missing from my bio?

COMES WITH VET CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE

Foster Mom says I’m a special boy who deserves a special bio, so we wrote this one together. I’ll begin by saying that being in a foster home has been amazing! Like Foster Mom says, I’ve been so happy it’s like I’m a different dog! She describes me as loving, smart and well-behaved; I’ve stayed off the furniture, lived peacefully with the resident small dog, and learned the family routine. I’ve loved spending time outdoors, go in my crate willingly, and accept reassurance when scared by house noises (like the vacuum cleaner). Foster Mom can tell you lots more, including about my Vet Care Support for Life, but here’s my main message: If you have room in your heart for a special dog like me, I’ll gladly be your happy and grateful dog forever.  (bio rev. 3/29/25)

Hi… my name is Viper,

Life upheaval: new baby in the house. Our humans weren’t sure how my best feline friend, Baxter, and I would interact with the little one, so they brought us to The Animal League where we await our new home.  I’m not sure why I have my name because I’m certainly not venomous! I’m a healthy, young girl with lovely black and white tabby markings. I’m shy. Currently my coping strategy is to nestle in a cat tree cubby observing my new surroundings. I’m waiting to venture forth to play with toys and receive petting from the volunteers. Until then, they are gently talking to me, assuring me that I will find my new home. Perhaps with you?

Hi… my name is Baxter,

Life upheaval: new baby in the house. Our humans weren’t sure how my best feline friend, Viper, and I would interact with the little one, so they brought us to The Animal League where we await our new home. I sport a handsome black tabby fur coat complete with white paws and chest. I’m cautious yet curious about my new surroundings. My safe place is in a cat tree cubby. Volunteers can coax me out of it so they can brush me routinely. I like to be brushed! I’m a sturdy guy that will give you my heart if you give me yours. What do you say? Please come meet me and let’s see if we’re compatible.

Hi… my name is Mystik,

Adopted 8-9-24

It was a long ride from Rio Rico for my feline friend, River, and me. How grateful we were to arrive at The Animal League! Our human mom was sad to relinquish us, but she had to move in with family and there was no room for us. She said I was a prima donna who loved to be pampered and   brushed. I loved to play with little stuffed mice. My favorite napping spot: at the top of my cat tower. I need a quiet home: no little children, dogs, kittens or male cats please. I may prefer being your one and only pet since I dominate for attention. How ‘bout being my best human companion?

Hi… my name is Baxy,

RAINBOW BRIDGE 11-22-24

I’m not like the other fosters.  Due to my diagnosis, I’m a fospice dog—a foster dog who is in hospice.  But whatever the term, what I know is that I am now a family dog.

We all know that a family can be one person or a houseful.  In my case, my foster family includes another dog and my foster mom and dad (two TALGV volunteers), and now me!  My family opened their hearts and home to me, not as a guest but as one of them.

Whatever lies ahead for me, there is one thing I know for sure:  I will not face it alone.  Thanks to my foster family I can rest assured that my golden days—these precious days—will be full of love, comfort and family.
