Hi… my name is Kooper,

Adopted 6-15-25

I’ve been told my eyes are a distinctive feature. Mine reveal the wisdom beyond my young age. I’m a playful yet serious guy who knows when it’s time for fun and when it’s time to settle down. I’ve got great manners, walk beautifully on leash, and even help mentor my canine pals. I may be a big dog, but my heart and affection for the people I love are even bigger. I enjoy outings, playing with other dogs, and giving loyalty and love to those in my circle. I may start out a bit reserved, but once you’ve earned the title of Kooper Trooper, I’m all yours—tail wags, kisses, and more. If you’re looking for a thoughtful, well-behaved companion with a playful streak and a wise soul, just ask for Super Kooper!

Hi… my name is Barnum,

Adopted with Bailey 6-22-24

Hey! I’m in the prime of my life but my human passed away. My bonded companion Bailey and I need a new home! We look similar, but I have the beautiful blue eyes to go along with a tabby and white coat. I’m the friendlier one and have been following the volunteers around, rubbing their legs and looking for love. I’ll roll on my back to play and I like laps. I can get along with dogs. As you can guess from our names, Bailey and I can be quite entertaining. Maybe you need a little more excitement in your home? Come meet us and we’ll charm you.

Hi… my name is Bailey,

Adopted with Barnum 6-22-24

Hey! I’m in the prime of my life but my human passed away. My bonded companion Barnum and I need a new home! We look similar, but I have a darker coat. Barnum will say that he’s the friendlier one but I like people just fine. I discovered a nice cubby in a cat tree here and I will talk to visitors before jumping down to investigate and play. Our human did say I was the curious one. As you can guess from our names, Barnum and I can be quite entertaining. Maybe you need a little more excitement in your home? Come meet us and we’ll charm you.

Adopted 6-5-24

Levi is a smart, loving, and energetic eighteen-month-old, 50-pound Husky male who needs a new home. He is good on leash and would appreciate daily long walks. He is crate trained and house trained. Levi responds to commands sit, down, and shake, and he is learning to wait, stay, and catch. He is neutered and in good health. He likes to play with his toys and chewing on his elk horn. Levi loves his humans and will stay close beside you, but other dogs, cats, and children are unknown. He needs an Alpha human and will love having attention in an active home and learning how to be your best friend. There is no adoption fee for this special boy. If you will welcome Levi into a loving home as part of your family, please call Roxanne any time at 949-683-8529.

Hi… my name is Vader,

Adopted 6-21-24

(Note: Vader is front declawed.)

I’ve lived my whole life with a grandma, but she can’t care for me any longer. I’m a little confused with my new situation and all the other cats, but I’m handling it okay. I’m pretty mellow and like to stay up on a high perch here, where I can survey my new surroundings in safety. The volunteers can pet me and brush me, but I’m easily spooked by noise. I do like to play! My coat is mostly black with a distinctive white cravat and spot on my forehead.  I am front-declawed. I’d love to find another quiet home where I can resume my comfortable life and be a companion to someone nice.

If you are considering adoption, stop in at TALGV to meet me soon. Or you may  call TALGV office (520-625-3170) and make an appointment. Kennel hours are between 10 and 2 every day.

Hi… my name is Bentley,

Adopted 6-6-24

One spring day five young puppies were found in a box at the side of a road. I was one of those lucky-to-be-found pups, fortunate to be brought to The Animal League where a wonderful volunteer became our foster mom. Since we were only 3 weeks old (!) she bottle-fed us and kept us at her home until we were 8 weeks old. I’ve been a shy and scared puppy, so I dream of a peaceful home where I’ll enjoy lots of love along with encouragement to join my person in the big wide world, maybe even going on fun adventures! I’m a big puppy now and could grow into your big dog if you think we’d be good together. Can we please meet soon and find out if we’re a happy match?
