We first arrived at The Animal League as tiny kittens from Rio Rico. We were adopted into a home with other cats, and that just didn’t work out. Perhaps our next home should be just the two of us. I’m very friendly, will eat anything, and will sleep anywhere. I’m an all-around good guy who gets along with children and adults. However, I have no experience with dogs. I have new frontiers to explore, and I’d like to do that with Shenanigan and you. How about it?

You also know why I must be adopted with my best buddy Chaplin. Together we make up the actor’s full name. Believe me, you will want us both! We were found at the Sahuarita Mission Apartments and brought to The Animal League. I am a cute little guy just waiting to shower you with playful attention. Months ago, I was one of seven little puppies brought to The Animal League in a cardboard box! Since then, I’ve been growing, learning, and having fun, but there have been a few disappointments, too. First, a family member’s allergies, then an older dog didn’t want me around, and now my current family is going far away. What’s a people-loving dog like me to do? Put my best paw forward, of course. My former people said I was good with children, housetrained, liked playing with a ball, and understood the words “sit,” “lay down,” and “go outside.” I’m a big, active puppy who loves to give and receive attention, and really wants to belong to someone. How about we meet real soon and find out if we could be a happy family together forever.

When I arrived here, I was not in good shape. I was found outside and a nice woman brought me in. She probably saved my life! I was very dirty and needed medication, and I can say that the TLC they dish out here is the best! I’m now a healthy girl and ready for a nice, safe indoor home. I express my happiness by purring when you pet or scratch me. I’m pretty mellow, and enjoy hanging out on a cat tree. Commotion all around doesn’t faze me! People tend to notice my merle and white coat first because, they say, it’s unusually handsome. They often comment on my eyes—one is blue, the other brown. I enjoy the compliments, of course, but my favorite part is when we get acquainted because I’m a friendly, sweet guy who loves being with people. Some say I make them happy just by being me! The kind fellow who rescued me couldn’t keep me forever, but in our two days together he wished he could. He said my good qualities included being “a great dog, lots of love, very sweet, and sensitive.” My friends here agree! Mama dropped me off with my siblings at a nice man’s house, and he brought us to The Animal League. I’m the last one still here! After a period of extreme shyness, now I’m “Mr. Friendly,” coming out to meet each new person in my room. I’m not a lap boy, but I do like being near humans and will follow you around to keep you company. I get along with the other cats in my room and like to play with string toys. I have a soft white coat with a black tail and black markings on my head. Would you be the one to introduce me to the joys of a new home?

Mama dropped me off with my siblings at a nice man’s house, and he brought us all to The Animal League. My remaining brother and I are still here. We look alike, but you can tell us apart by the smudge of grey on our faces—mine is on my nose, and my brother’s is near his eye. I’m a little shy, not having had much human contact so far, but I’m coming around. The volunteers say I will approach and stay at a short distance, and then work up my courage to come closer for petting and brushing. I like it so much, I sometimes give light nibbles to say “please don’t stop.”
