When mom died I was left outside to fend for myself. That wasn’t much fun. Luckily a nice woman took me in, but she had other cats who didn’t like me. Talk about feeling lost in the world, and unwanted! Now I’m here, and the nice volunteers are wonderful. They know that I have many sterling qualities. I love laps, being petted, scratched and brushed, and will roll over to play. I’m a handsome tuxedo boy with beautiful round yellow eyes. At three years old I’m still rather young, so I have lots of time to make a new home for myself with you—lots of time to play and love. What do you say?

A handsome lad, I lived with another cat and a dog for several years. We all got along. However, my senior couple’s family who lived with us were not very kind to animals. So, it was decided that I be brought to The Animal League. My human dad said I was somewhat of a picky eater, that I was shy with strangers and somewhat independent. However, he also said that I liked to sleep on my humans’ bed, so I can’t be THAT independent, right? I love to play with a ball and string. That’s the story of my siblings and me—five well-fed, happy puppies, all in good shape, and so glad to be found! Our breed? Best guess is Lab/Shepherd/Rottie mix, so we’ll probably become big dogs. I’d add friendly, active, and fun-loving dogs, too, because that’s who we are today. We enjoy going to the TALGV play yard, where we meet other dogs, and we’re learning important puppy lessons, including how to walk on a leash. I’m the only female, my coat is black with white markings, and I’m ready to go home. If you have room in your heart and life for a growing pup, could my happy forever home be with you?
