Hi… my name is Kehlani,

Adopted 3-6-24

A year ago, I was fortunate to find what I thought was my Forever Family. Sadly, my owner passed away and other family members couldn’t keep me, so now I’m back at TALGV. But despite losing my family and home, I am a playful, affectionate and VERY happy girl. I have house manners and know how to use a doggie door or ask to go outside. I’ve been good with kids but can be shy with some men. (Maybe I’m playing ‘hard to get’ – LOL!). While I lived with other dogs of all sizes, small dogs (and cats) look more like toys I’d like to chase.  Speaking of toys, I’m passionate about them and treats. Please come meet me and I’ll happily show you why friends say I’m a beauty with brains to match!

Adp[ted 5-3-23

Tyrus is a friendly and social 3-year-old, 60-pound Australian Cattle Dog mix male who needs a new home. He is house trained (asks to go out), leash trained, crate trained, and obedience trained (knows sit, stay, down, come, and shake). He is neutered, up to date on shots, and medical records are available. He is on hi-protein diet food. Tyrus lives with a cat; he does best with female dogs, and is okay with older children. He likes to play fetch, ice cubes, and kong toys. He likes to walk but at times can need a strong handler. He does not get on furniture but prefers to sleep with you on the bed. There is no adoption fee. If you will welcome this sweet boy into a loving home as part of your family, please call Nancy after 9 a.m. at 520-743-7656.

Hi… my name is Legend,

Adopted 4-29-23

I’m not sure how I found myself outside and alone, but I picked out a good looking house and started meowing at the door. Guess what? It worked! They brought me to The Animal League and I’m pleased as punch. No shrinking violet, I know a good thing when I see it. I love to be petted and brushed and will roll over to show my appreciation. Now I just need a permanent home. How about yours? I’m a cute grey and white guy with handsome black markings on my coat. I’m young enough to foresee many years of playing and loving in a new home. Come on by and say hello.

Hi… my name is Dusk,

Adopted 9-3-23

I’m not sure how I found myself outside and alone, but a nice lady noticed me and brought me to The Animal League. I must have seen some scary sights while I was on my own, because I’m still very scared. I growl instinctively when anyone looks at me or tries to approach, but here’s a secret. I’m really not threatening! If you come up slowly and talk softly, you can touch me, pet me and brush me. I do seem to get along with other cats. I’m a hefty grey and white guy just looking for someone to love me and help me feel safe. Could that be with you? Let’s find out.

Hi… my name is Opal,

Adopted 12-20-23

I’m an almost 2-year-old, Staffie mix female. I’m a little timid and shy with people until I get to know them, then you’ll see what an affectionate girl I am. My roommate was happy when I returned after being in foster care. While there I slept in my crate at night (and when needed) and I asked to go out, but occasionally needed reminding. I know how to “sit,” and I walk fairly well. I’ll need someone to teach me the rest of the commands and work on my leash training. I was wondering, would YOU be interested? On a personal note, I’m still young and might benefit from additional “puppy training.” I enjoy playing fetch, chasing lizards, and snuggling on the couch with my person. Want to snuggle?
