TALGV is a private, non-profit, all volunteer organization serving the greater Green Valley area. Our primary purpose is to find new homes for companion animals whose owners are unable to care for them because of illness or other necessary lifestyle changes that cannot include their pet. We also assist as many other animals in need as our facilities and resources will permit.

It is with great pleasure we announce that TALGV placed first for Arizona in Animal Rescue Site Shelter Challenge and were awarded $1000.00. The Animal League of Green Valley’s dog and cat shelter areas are open from 10am to 2pm. Please call 520-625-3170 to make an appointment to meet one of our animals and for relinquishment information. The Animal League of Green Valley would like to thank the members of our community for their generosity. Thanks to you, our shelter residents and many pets in the community continue to have healthy food and receive necessary medical care.

The Animal Rescue Site has commenced it’s Summer 2012 Shelter challenge, which runs for 12 weeks. People are allowed vote once a day for a shelter of their choice. We ask that you take a moment out of your day and support us. Please encourage your friends and family to vote for us too!
