Hi… my name is Butch.

I was adopted July 23, 2014.

Lots of “winter visitors” in Green Valley are from Seattle and so am I! My folks found me there when I was a baby, and although I got along well with the other three cats in the household, I was a bit too “gung ho” for the oldest – my kitten antics were more than he could deal with! Well, I’ve matured a lot since I arrived here in 2010, and I can’t understand why no one has chosen me yet because I still like to play and to crawl up into your lap, have my ears scratched (but NOT my tummy!), and purr myself to sleep. I think that I would do well in a home with active cats like myself (or with playful, cat-friendly dogs), so if you’re looking for a calm and collected guy, but one who can still provide some excitement in the bargain, then I’d be the one for you!
