I may have used up a few of my nine lives, but I’m still “alive and kicking” despite my travails! I survived on the streets for years until my mom gave me a wonderful home, but sadly, end-stage COPD necessitated her moving in with her daughter, who is allergic to cats. My mom dearly loved me, and said that I was a sweet boy who was a good companion, quiet and independent, and very tolerant of the resident dog. I’ve lost quite a few teeth along the way, and tested positive for FIV (but don’t let that scare you away because I may never have any symptoms) and still can eat up a storm!
