Like the other dogs, I’m here through no fault of my own. Three years ago, my littermate and I were adopted as pups. We had a wonderful life! Then something changed and my family had to move to one of those places that doesn’t allow dogs. Why do such places exist? How boring! So, I am back at TALGV and trying my best to catch the attention of shelter visitors. While I’m a little shy, I do enjoy meeting people and am friendly and polite with other dogs. I obviously have experience living in a home and can easily learn new routines my new family would have. What do you say? Does your family need a four-legged companion like me? I hope so! Hi… my name is Maiar,

I was found as a stray six years ago by a lovely lady who has passed. There was no one to care for me. I was so scared when I was brought to the shelter. I tried to make myself as small as possible, hoping no one would notice me. The volunteers have been so kind and now I’m loving pets and head scratches. I like to sit up high and check things out – especially the birds outside. I’m a handsome boy and would be fine with a kitty friend. I’d love a cozy home with a nice patient person who would give me the time I need to feel comfortable. Maybe that’s you?
