Hi… my name is Epic,

A nice lady found me roaming around her neighborhood and noticed I was “very nice.” She brought me to The Animal League and I’m now beginning a new life. In my old life I tried to dominate other cats, but that was before my little operation. I am a big bruiser, but mellow, and I like petting. I’m a little shy as I get used to my new environment here. If you are looking for a husky boy who has years of companionship to give, please come see me. I think we should talk about it and come to some understanding. Maybe you could use some protection…? That would be right up my alley.

If you are considering adoption, stop in at TALGV to meet me soon. Or you may  call TALGV office (520-625-3170) and make an appointment. Kennel hours are between 10 and 2 every day.

Hi… my name is Lucky,

Adopted 5-21-23

If anyone has the right to lay claim to a name, that would be me! I was found, all alone on a dirt road, in the mountains of Rio Rico. Boy, was I a sight for sore eyes, dirty and covered with thorns and sticks. The lady who rescued me took me to her home where I met her canine family of three, a Husky, German Shepherd, and Golden Retriever. During my stay I enjoyed their companionship. Since arriving at TALGV, I’ve learned how to play fetch with my new toy. I’m a happy, affectionate, playful  fellow who can be protective of my person (barks at strangers). I’ll need some all-around training (house and basics), along with patience and unconditional love. If you’re ready to take that step, I’ll love and follow you anywhere!

If you are considering adoption, please call TALGV office (520-625-3170) and make a date to meet me soon. Kennel appointments are between 10 and 2 every day.

Hi… my name is Doobie,

Adopted with Mya 5-25-23

When asked to describe me, someone I know said “Gentle, loving, trusts everyone.” Well, maybe not everyone, but I certainly do appreciate the company of kind people. Fortunately, I’m happy to say, the feeling is often mutual. I do try to be a good companion. I’m glad to share a walk, know a few commands, and in my former home I “asked” to go outside, had good house manners when the owner was gone, and lived peacefully with another dog.  Then my former person moved and couldn’t take me along, so I’m ready to find someone new to love.  I’m an 8-year-old Dachshund/Terrier mix male, and cute as can be, I’m told.  But let’s see what you think. Please come visit and we’ll decide together if we can make our own happily ever after.

Hi… my name is Rook,

Adopted with Franc 4-8-23

My early life has been a little topsy-turvy. Mom gave birth under a house to me and my siblings, and a nice neighbor brought us to The Animal League. I was adopted with another kitten named Franc and we were doing great until mom got sick and had to move. Here we are again, looking for a new home together. We’re still young at heart and I’m very friendly. I will come right out of my cubby and follow the volunteers around looking for attention. I get along with everyone! Mom said I liked to sleep with her and watch TV. Franc and I can be an instant family for you—how about it?

PICKLES is a friendly and social 6-year-old, 13-pound, Chihuahua mix female who needs a new home. Adopter believes Pickles would be happier as an only pet. She loves adults but has not been around children; she does not get along with other dogs or cats. She is leash trained, crate trained, house trained (asks to go out), will sit on command, and has had snake training. Pickles is in good health, spayed, up to date on shots, and medical records are available. There is no adoption fee. If you will welcome Pickles into a loving home as part of your family, please call Evelyn any time at 920-889-4093.

Hi… my name is Bryson,

Adopted 1-5-24

Experiencing life’s twists and turns has found me once again in The Animal League. The first time I came as a stray, after being found near Sprout’s. I appreciated the safe place to nap in a cat tree or play with string toys. When I was adopted into a home, I thought I had it made. Sadly, the resident cat was aggressive toward me, so back I came. My adopters said that I was playful and explored everything. I was friendly and loving, and I liked to cuddle in their arms. I’m a handsome lad who’s a good eater and loves human affection. I’m waiting to shower my affection on you! Please come meet me.
