Hi… my name is Stella,

Adopted 9-15-19

I’m jet black with four white paws and white bib, and I’m a slender 41 pounds. When I was found, I was covered in ticks. TALGV volunteers said I calmly let them remove each tick, even between my toes. Speaking of patience, my current roommate is a 35-pound puppy who climbs over and under me, lifting me right off my feet. Am I annoyed? Upset? Nope, I give her kisses, and she licks me back. At one year of age, I’m playful but never rough. I love all the affection I get here, and I give every bit as much as I receive. You’ll find me with my head in somebody’s lap. I aim to live up to my name. Stella means “star,” and I’ll shine brightly for you.

Hi… my name is Scout (aka Gretchen),

Adopted 9-8-19

I’m a 2-year-old, action-packed pup who will love hiking, romping, and playing with you. Being a Heeler/Husky mix, I like being part of a pack, and sometimes I instinctively find myself herding. I even arrange my toys around the house, which made my Mom laugh. I know basic commands, am crate trained, and with my intelligence, I’ll learn whatever else you want me to do. Enthusiasm is my middle name! My Mom of two years was heartbroken to have to relinquish me, but a sudden injury prevents her from giving me the exercise I need for a good life. Mom said I’m a sweet girl who’s eager to please, and I need a strong but caring hand. I’m no bore, so if you’re ready for some fun and lots of love, I’m all yours!

Hi… my name is Nala,

I am a female fun-loving and good-natured heeler mix. I get along with everyone: kids, teenagers, adults, other dogs, and my people said that I was really gentle with the baby. When they could no longer care for me and my friend Nellie, they brought us here and told everyone what a sweet and smart dog I am: I know sit, stop and get down, and I was always good at home, even when left alone. Just be ready for when you come back: I will shower you with love! I like walks, belly rubs, ear scratches, and I like Nellie. If we could stay together, that would be totally awesome. Can you come to meet us real soon?
