Hi… my name is Thomas (aka Mr. T),

Note: Bio needs update

When my unfortunate mom had to go into a homeless shelter, it wasn’t just the calamitous change in her life that devastated her; it was losing her dogs and cats. So knowing that, I hope my friends, Baya, Shiva, and I, can be forgiven for being at sixes and sevens for a while. Mom did say, “Don’t let their anxiety scare you, they are all very friendly and lovable, good with dogs and people, and just want forever families.” As a guy who’s lived with all kinds of critters, you can be sure that once I’ve adjusted to the upheaval in my life, going back to being the loving companion I always was, won’t take more than having a lap, a safe haven, and YOU to make my world right again!

Hi… my name is Corky,

Note: bio needs update

Corky comes with Free Vet Care for Life.

Hope. It’s something everyone has, and every day I wake up thinking is this the day my new person’s going to discover me? I’ve lived with two “moms” during my 10½ years – one of them died and the other recently went into assisted living – so if life is good (and it sure has been up until now!), I’ll get to spend the rest of my life with just one more! I’m a big guy, nudging 20 pounds, but that’s just “more of me to love” as they say, and more for you to love, too! I’m a declawed gentleman (who has free vet care) who will thank you every day that you decided that I was the one you wanted in your life!

Hi… my name is Heidi,

Note: Bio needs update.

I’m probably different from most dogs you know because I’m deaf (based on observation rather than a formal exam). If you don’t already know sign language, we can have fun learning signs together for commands like sit, down, stay. Of course, hearing dogs observe hand signals, too, but I pay especially close attention. Maybe that’s part of my charm! Back when I was a stray, the folks who found me said I was gentle and tolerant with children; the volunteers here say I’m exceptionally sweet and loving with everyone. Please come see for yourself. I’m an adorable 2-year-old female, 65 pounds, white with black spots, and I’d love to meet you. They say to know me is to love me, and I bet the same is true about you, so we’ll be great together!
