BABY is an energetic and affectionate 15-pound, 8-year-old female Maltese/Poodle mix that needs a new home as owner is ill and can no longer care for her. She is housebroken, crate trained, leashtrained, and obedience trained. She has been spayed but needs some shots. Baby gets along with other dogs and children; cats are unknown. CLEO is an intelligent and energetic three-year-old, 60-pound, Staffie/ Cattle Dog mix female who needs a new home. She loves to play fetch, likes car rides, and enjoys chew toys. She is crate trained, leash trained, house trained, and asks to go out. She is in good health, spayed, up to date on shots, and medical records are available. Cleo is not good with other female dogs but is okay with male dogs her size; cats are unknown, and children should be teenaged. She knows sit, stay, off, paw and kennel, is treat motivated, and is eager to learn more. Cleo can be shy when meeting new people, but if you are patient with her, she would be happy to be your new best friend.

Hi… my name is Shamrock,

Maybe it was the luck of the Irish, but thanks to a kind human, my six puppies and I found refuge at TALGV. Now that my ‘mom’ role in life is over (Thank doG!), I’m ready for a family of my own. My floppy ears and wagging tail are a sure sign of my friendly demeanor and zest for life, spreading happiness is my specialty. Exploring new places and meeting new friends are what I live for, but my passion is playing fetch and will return the ball to you for another round as long as your throwing arm holds out. When game time is over, I would love to just be near you where I can enjoy being a beloved family member. Life will be paws-itively amazing because together, we’ll have good fortune every day!

Hi… my name is Equinox,

COMES WITH VET CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE

For several days my rescuer fed me since I followed her around. What was I to do? I was a stray. I lost my home, but no one knows why. Heart-breaking words for someone who has had a home. The TLC from volunteers at The Animal League is helping me, especially after my dental procedure. I like my soft diet of foods. I spend my days napping in the cat tree; that is until someone comes in to pet me, and then I wake up to receive their attention. I love to receive pets and brushings. I’m a handsome guy with a gentle personality. I would love to put a paw print on your heart! (January 2024)
