Hi… my name is Shamrock,

Maybe it was the luck of the Irish, but thanks to a kind human, my six puppies and I found refuge at TALGV. Now that my ‘mom’ role in life is over (Thank doG!), I’m ready for a family of my own. My floppy ears and wagging tail are a sure sign of my friendly demeanor and zest for life, spreading happiness is my specialty. Exploring new places and meeting new friends are what I live for, but my passion is playing fetch and will return the ball to you for another round as long as your throwing arm holds out. When game time is over, I would love to just be near you where I can enjoy being a beloved family member. Life will be paws-itively amazing because together, we’ll  have good fortune every day!

If you are considering adoption, please call TALGV office (520-625-3170) and make a date to meet me soon. Kennel appointments are between 10 and 2 every day.

Hi… my name is Equinox,

RAINBOW BRIDGE 5-8-24

After time on the streets as a stray, a nice person rescued me and brought me to The Animal League.  After receiving some dental work, I was adopted into a home with another cat. However, I tested positive for a condition that could harm other cats, so back I came. I’m living in my own room here and I like to sit on top of a high perch. I like my diet of soft foods and to receive pets and brushings. I’m a handsome guy with a gentle personality who would do best as an only cat. I come with Vet Care Support for Life—let me put a paw print on your heart!

Gus

Hi… my name is Gus,

Can you say personality? I have it to spare! I love to snuggle and am very friendly. I’ll roll over for brushing, rub against your legs for attention, and I like to play. My last human said I’m incredibly loving, and I like cuddling and sleeping in bed with people. Why am I here? After a lengthy period I was not able to make friends with other cats in my home—although I tolerated a dog and was gentle with a young child. I’m looking for a new home where I can be your one and only cat. Does that sound like your house? Come meet me and let me make up to you.

If you are considering adoption, stop in at TALGV to meet me soon. Or you may  call TALGV office (520-625-3170) and make an appointment. Kennel hours are between 10 and 2 every day.

ADDIE is a social and energetic 6-year-old, 50-pound, Australian Cattle Dog female who needs a new home with more space for exercise (owner has moved to apartment). She has some obedience training (sit and stay), is treat motivated, and learns quickly. She is housebroken and asks to go out. She is in good health, spayed, and medical records are available. Addie gets along with other dogs and cats but may try to herd small animals. She likes everyone but she really loves children of all ages. She loves attention and long walks. There is no adoption fee for this special girl. If you will welcome Addie into a loving home as part of your family, please call Dick any time at 410-241-6732.

Hi… my name is Rover,

If you have a soft spot for survivors, please meet me! I spent the first few weeks of my life named Orange Julius. When my human could no longer care for me and her nine other cats, she brought us to The Animal League where I became Rover, part of the Travel Litter. Once adopted, I had the name Gin Gin. In that home, I lived with another cat who beat up on me. I lived in constant fear. Currently, I’m hiding in my cubby. Will you be the kind, patient person to adopt me into your safe home? I need Tender Loving Care to become self-confident—no matter what my name is.

If you are considering adoption, stop in at TALGV to meet me soon. Or you may  call TALGV office (520-625-3170) and make an appointment. Kennel hours are between 10 and 2 every day.

Hi… my name is Gilligan,

I’m not sure how I got this name—at 19 pounds I’m no “little buddy.” I’m a big boy! Dad brought me here after I began fighting with my sibling, maybe because we lived in a small home and I needed my own space. Here at The Animal League I’ve been sleeping in a (big) cubby. I do like petting, brushing and scratching, and will play a little. Not sure about laps—maybe I’d be too big? Anyway, I’m looking for a new situation, preferably as an only cat. I’m willing to consider all comers—so do come on out and see what I have to offer.

If you are considering adoption, stop in at TALGV to meet me soon. Or you may  call TALGV office (520-625-3170) and make an appointment. Kennel hours are between 10 and 2 every day.

Hi… my name is Buddy,

I was just a puppy when I was adopted from TALGV 8 years ago.  Because of unforeseen circumstances, my family had to find a new home, but they couldn’t find one that would allow dogs, namely me. I’m now 9 years old and, as you can see, I’ve grown into a handsome Border Collie mix boy. I’m good in the house, gentle, know how to “sit,” and walk well on a leash.  I enjoy playing with tough, appropriate chew toys, but soft toys should never be included on my wish list. I lived with two children (4 and 10) but might do better with older children. I don’t like thunderstorms, but I do love to run, jog, and go on hikes, and I’d REALLY love to go home with you and be your faithful “Buddy” for life.

If you are considering adoption, please call TALGV office (520-625-3170) and make a date to meet me soon. Kennel appointments are between 10 and 2 every day.

Hi… my name is Tinkerbell,

Adopted 5-8-24

COMES WITH VET CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE

Originally, when first arriving here, there were three of us; Dotty, Evie, and me. Since the other two were bonded, I was happy to see them go home together, with their new, proud parents. I had joined the little family sometime after the other two, and even though we all got along very well, I never actually bonded with them. I’m an outgoing, self-proclaimed lap dog who’s incredibly sweet. I love people, being petted, and having someone make a fuss over me. I can “sit” when asked, walk well on a leash, and come with vet care support for life. I’m an active, happy and loving girl, who’s looking for someone who could be looking for me. Someone to share my retirement with, preferably someone with a soft lap. Do you think we’ve found each other? I do!
