Wouldn’t it be great if they did DNA testing on all the “mystery” dogs that come in to TALGV? What a great genetic mix you’d find! In my case they’ve got bets going on Anatolian shepherd, Swiss Mountain dog, or maybe even a smidge of St. Bernard, but no matter, you’d be a winner with any of them! I was seen being dropped out of a car in Amado, so there’s no clue about my origin. Suffice it to say, I’m going to be a pretty big guy (I’m only about 3 1/2 months old as of mid-January, so have quite a bit of growing to do!), but lots of times big dogs are way more easygoing than the little active ones! Why not adopt me and see for yourself!

In my case they’ve got bets going on Anatolian shepherd, Swiss Mountain dog, or maybe even a smidge of St. Bernard, but no matter, you’d be a winner with any of them! I’m “overnighting” these days with a volunteer and she says I’m doing great – learning good leash manners, ride well in the car, and use doggie door. I’m getting along fine in a home environment and adjusting to living with other dogs. Suffice it to say, I’m going to be a pretty big guy (I’m only a few months old now, so have quite a bit of growing to do!), but lots of times big dogs are way more easygoing than the little active ones!
