Hi… my name is Erin,

Adopted 9-29-22

My family consists of my mom (Ella), my brother (Earl), and me. We all arrived at The Animal League, after being found roaming around and lost. I’m an approximately 4-month-old Black Mouth Cur/Staffie mix female. Earl and I may not look a lot like  mom, but you can tell we’re family. Like all puppies my age, I’m “feeling my oats and ready to take on the world,” whatever that means. From what I hear, it means now’s the perfect time to learn good behavior and the basic commands to help us with that. After doing a good job rearing us, mom thinks we’re ready to find our own forever home. I guess I’m ready, even though it won’t be easy at first. I’ll need a lot of love and patience, but mostlyIll need YOU!

Hi… my name is Earl,

Adopted 10-17-22

After we were found, my mom (Ella), sister (Erin), and I were brought to The Animal League to help find our forever homes. I’m an approximately 4-month-old Black Mouth Cur/Staffie mix male. Erin and I probably get our good looks from both mom and dad. Mom is with us, waiting for us to find loving homes of our own. It will be hard leaving my family, but because mom did a good job rearing us, I know I’ll do great. From what Erin hinted (her words) we’re both “full of oats and ready to take on the world.” I suppose that means we’ve reached an age for knowing how to behave and learning some basic commands that will help in the future. I’ll need your patience, but mostly I’ll want… YOUR LOVE!

Hi… my name is Ella,

Adopted 9-6-22

Monsoon season is not the best time for a young mother and her two pups to be without a home. Thankfully we were brought to The Animal League and safety. My pups, Erin and Earl, are approximately 4 months old. I’m a good mom who wants her puppies to find loving forever homes. Let me be honest with you: I’m about 3 years old, and I want the same thing! I enjoy car rides and my daily walks, and since I have “puppy sitters” available, I love having some “me” time without the kids. So I recently attended an event with several of my canine friends from TALGV. I’m a happy, affectionate and sociable gal who’s always ready for human company. Soon I’ll be an empty-nester and ready for my forever home. Get the hint?

If you are considering adoption, please call TALGV office (520-625-3170) and make a date to meet me soon. Kennel appointments are between 10 and 2 every day.

Hi… my name is Cain,

Adopted 1-6-22

Black Mouth Curs are known as working dogs, so a secure yard, and lots of exercise are at the top of my list. I’m crate trained and  know the commands: “sit,” “come,” “stay,” “lay down,” “potty,” and several more. I’m a friendly, loyal, and smart  boy who, when on a leash, needs a strong handler. I don’t like loud noises and thunderstorms, and anything that covers your eyes. I have gotten along well with children and other dogs. I can use the doggie door, but I need to learn not to mark my territory. I wasn’t getting along with the house cats, and that’s why I’m here now. It has been suggested that I should probably be an only (child) pet. When you meet me, please remember these adjectives: Loyal, protective, sensitive, fearless, kind, intelligent, and TRAINABLE.

If you are considering adoption, please call TALGV office (520-625-3170) and make a date to meet me soon. Kennel appointments are between 10 and 2 every day.

Hi… my name is Bailey,

Adopted 7-30-18

Comes with FREE Vet Care for Life

Even though I’m 9 years old, I’m sure some of my happiest trails are still ahead of me. Here’s one way I know: I recently had great fun with a family including five children (age 10 and older). We played fetch, the kids liked it when I’d sit, stay and come on their say-so, and I loved it when they kept saying, “Bailey is awesome!” At 75 pounds, I’ve been called a shepherd/Black Mouth Cur mix, but you can just call me a big loveable guy. I need a new home because my person became seriously ill and couldn’t keep me. I hope it helps that I come with Free Vet Care for Life, and I also come ready to relax, have fun, and be your faithful companion. Will you give me that chance?
