The wonderful couple that found me (and my companion, Bogie), in a wash already had rescued ten dogs and three cats from that area, so keeping us forever was more than they could handle. Fortunately, TALGV’s Outreach Program came to their (and our!) rescue and when there was space, we got to come here. My rescuers said that I was very friendly, walked perfectly on a leash, and got along great with all the other household members (human and “other”!), so I guess I must have belonged to someone at one time. I’m a beautiful tan and white Boxer girl, and I know that I’m going to be eternally grateful for a safe, loving home to wipe out the memory of the recent past.
Arrived September 30, 2014.

I was adopted by my finder on September 20, 2014.
MIA is a gentle and loving 2 ½-year-old female boxer mix who was found in early August on the roadway in Sahuarita. Finder took her in and was pleased to discover that Mia is fully housebroken and good in the house, is okay with the cat, likes to ride in the car, and is very social and loving to all people. She is up to date on shots and will be spayed soon with help from TALGV. Mia is a 43-pound “velcro” dog who wants only to please and be with her people. It might be preferable if she is the only dog. There is no adoption fee for Mia. To arrange a meeting, please call Susan between 8 AM and 8 PM at 520-648-3746.

Hi… my name is Anna.
Adopted December 13, 2014.
I’d love to be able to tell you a lot of fascinating stuff about my life before TALGV, but I guess that’s not going to happen because I was found wandering on Sahuarita Road. They do know that I’d been adopted from a shelter at one time, but after that, life’s a blank. The volunteers do say, however, that I’m very playful, good with kids and other dogs, love my wading pool (and playing in the mud!), and walk well on leash. So that’s actually quite a bit, isn’t it? I’m a pretty, brindle and white Boxer/Staffie mix lady and I’ll just bet that I could make your whole year if you took me home!

I guess you have to associate “big and strong” with my name. Well, I am that, but I’m a big people lover, too! I was found wandering on Sahuarita Road near the pecan groves, so naturally not much is known about my past, but the volunteers will tell you that I walk well on a leash (okay, I get distracted sometimes, but MOSTLY well!), am housebroken (I use my doggie door and NEVER have an accident in my room!), and will make some lucky family that has experience with guys like me a great companion and friend. I’m about 2-3 years old, and a genuinely handsome brindle mix of Boxer and Staffie, so do us both a favor and let me shine my light in your direction!
