Adopted 2-7-17

DAISY is a beautiful 8-year-old German Shepherd that needs a new home as owners have down sized and she does not have the space she needs. She weighs 55 pounds, is spayed, is current on shots, and is in excellent health. Daisy does not have much training, but she is friendly and social with people, loves attention, and wants to please. She is well-behaved but does not get along with other dogs and cats. She is an inside-outside dog but prefers to be with her person. There is no adoption fee. If you would welcome Daisy into your heart and home, please call Maria between 8 AM and 8 PM at 520-312-1213.

Kamalya is a sweet, loving, and energetic 9-month-old, German Shepherd mix who was found in the desert by owner that has several pets already. She is a nice medium size and has a beautiful white coat and blue eyes. After about two months she finally began giving trust and love so she probably needs a family with lots of patience. Kamalya is working on leash training. If you have a large yard, Kamalya would be able to get the amount of exercise she craves. She is a healthy girl who is up to date on shots and has certificate for free spay courtesy of TALGV. Kamalya is good with other dogs, but her best friend Lucky is also available if you would consider adopting two nice dogs. There is no adoption fee.

If you will welcome Kamalya into a loving home as part of your family, please call Corrine between 8 AM and 8 PM at 520-490-7587.

Hi… my name is Christie.

Adopted February 1, 2015.

When my dad was deployed overseas, the rest of my family had to move back to Louisiana and couldn’t take me along. They had lots of good things to say about me (extremely energetic, loves kids and dog parks and being chased by other dogs, big sun-bather!). The volunteers here think I’m great too: “She’s a WONDERFUL 5-year-old shepherd/Lab mix girl who loves people and other animals (even cats!).  She’s a little shy (that’s to be expected as she lived with her family all her life), but once she warms up to you, she’s amazing, and there’s no reason this precious girl couldn’t go to a family with young children, other pets or just a ‘single and loving it’ person.  She just wants to be part of a family.” How about yours?

Hi… my name is Remy.

Adopted February 14, 2015

If you’ve had experience with big gals like me, have a good-size yard and maybe a few dog-loving children, do I ever have a deal for you! A family adopted me from a shelter a few months ago, and said I was terrific with their kids, was perfectly house- and crate-trained, and knew a few basic commands.  Unfortunately, the resident pets and I didn’t hit it off very well, so now I’ve got my sights set on a home where I can be “queen of the hop.” I’m a gorgeous, classically marked German shepherd lady, and if you can give me those things, we’ll all be better for it!

Hi… my name is Hazel.

Adopted January 14, 2015.

When you learn that I was left to fend for myself when I was a puppy over three years ago, and that compassionate neighbors fed me ever since, I hope you’ll understand my current shyness (although they say I’m coming out of my shell more each day). My “caretakers” did say that during their interaction with me, I got along with kids and wasn’t at all aggressive — I’m just unsure of humans right now. I’ve learned to walk nicely on leash and enjoy the company of other dogs, so I’m sure that the time the volunteers are spending with me will be rewarded when I come out of my shell and turn into the wonderful companion I was meant to be. I’m a shepherd mix lady who just needs patience and love.

Arrived March 18, 2014.
