Hi… my name is Diego,

Adopted October 3, 2015

I’m a TALGV baby! My nine brothers and sisters and I were born here on 7/26. (Yes, our mom is our hero; we’re so grateful to her for having us here in this safe and comfy place.) When we were brand new, we mainly ate, slept, and bumped into each other. Then we started growing and learning how much fun it is to play. Now we’re individual puppies, each with our own looks and personality. If you visit us, please watch for me. I’m Diego, a male, black and white with a very cute spotted nose. I’m ready to learn how to be the best dog I can be and to share a lifetime of love and loyalty. If that’s good for you, too, let’s get together real soon.

Born at TALGV July 26, 2015; available for adoption September 6, 2015 (at 6 weeks old)

Hi… my name is Curtis,

Adopted December 14, 2015

When I was lost, I tried to find a home.   A fellow opened his front door and there I was, wearing my friendliest face. He helped by bringing me to TALGV, where the volunteers now sing my praises. They say I’m an exceptionally smart, easy-going guy, and, like most Labs, a great combination of eager to play and eager to please. I love playing fetch—not only will I bring the ball back, I’ll drop it for a return toss and leave it when told—and my response to “sit” or “down” is instantaneous. You could probably teach me even more! I’m a happy, good-looking black Lab with white markings, and I am so ready for my forever home. Please let it be with you!

Hi… my name is Roxie.

Adopted August 22, 2015

I wish I could tell you my whole story and confide in you what made me shy, but for now will just say that I was so hungry for company that I approached a stranger’s house. He couldn’t keep me, so now I’m at TALGV, where my new friends are helping me build my confidence. They compliment my graceful movements and my beautiful brindle coat. I’m a 55-pound Boxer/Lab mix, so I have an athletic kind of build, but I’m good at stepping gently. Of course, I’d love to feel free to play and know the joy of hanging out with someone whose friendship I can always count on, so if that sounds good to you, too, please come for a visit. We can make lots of happy future stories together!

Hi… my name is Red Velvet.
Adopted August 29, 2015

I’m such a nice guy, you just know I’ve gone down some happy trails. But, somewhere along the line, I also became acquainted with that awful word “lost.” Lucky for me, I was eventually found—hard to miss at 98 pounds—and brought to TALGV. Those who’ve met me say that I am well trained (I like to think I’m what humans call “smart,”) and just naturally easy-going. I’m a handsome chocolate brown Lab mix, and at 6 years of age I’m not a pup anymore, but I’m glad to say that lots of humans are fine with that. If you are one of those people, please come for a visit. If you’ll let me, I would love to join you on that happiest trail of all – the one that leads to home.

Hi… my name is Raquel.

Adopted August 17, 2015

There’s not a whole lot to go on for my “story” because I just appeared at TALGV early one morning in May 2015, but when you meet me you won’t care one bit about where I’ve been and what I’ve done! Since there wasn’t room for me when I arrived, I was boarded at a kennel for a while, but everyone who met me knew that I would be a happy camper when I got into a home of my own. I’m a 45-pound, round about 2½-year-old yellow Lab mix (and you know how sweet and smart they are!), so take this opportunity to come meet me so we can talk about our future together!

Hi… my name is Toby.

Adopted August 6, 2015.

My little friend, Lady, and I were abandoned in a rental house. A sad story, but I am not a sad dog! I say life is good, and I love sharing it. I’m a big guy, an 87-pound black Lab, and I have a big heart, too. When my little friend jumped on my back for a better view, that was fine with me. I’m happy to help. And apparently it did help, because I’m glad to say that lucky Lady was adopted. Now I’m hoping it’s my turn. If you and I spend a few minutes together, you’ll see that I’m calm, friendly, ready to give and receive love; just all around good company. At 5 years old, I’m looking forward to my happy days ahead. Could they be with you?

Hi… my name is Blaze.

Adopted September 27, 2015

My friend, Trefor, and I lived with several other dogs and we all got along, but we were just too many dogs in one place. Now I’m looking for new friends and since I’m friendly in a gentle sort of way, I’m really hoping you’ll notice me. At a slender 42 pounds, I’m a nice size for a 2-year-old female lab mix. My coat is a beautiful basic black with just a sprinkling of white. I’m athletic, too, because I can climb or jump a 6-foot chain link fence, and really must learn not to do that. I admit, thunderstorms scare me, but most of the time I’m just loving, playful and sweet. If you have lots of love to give, too, maybe my forever best friend will be you.
