Hi… my name is Pilgrim,

Adopted 12-5-22

I am a Labrador-mix puppy and my siblings and I were found by some nice two-leggers who brought us to TALGV. My siblings have already been adopted and now I need to find MY forever home. I have since been vaccinated and microchipped, and, well, aren’t I the cutest thing with my roly-poly puppy belly? All this cuteness will need your guidance, though, so that I can mature into a well-mannered adult. Not to brag, but the Labrador in me means that I could be pretty smart. Are you ready to journey into the frontier of puppyhood? If so, let’s meet soon!

MURPHY is a handsome, good tempered, and well-behaved 5-year-old, 110-pound Lab/English Mastiff hybrid male that needs a new home. He is crate trained, leash trained, and house trained. He knows basic obedience commands, loves exercise, and responds well to treat training. He is in good health, neutered, up to date on shots, and medical records are available. Murphy likes friendly large dogs but not small dogs; cats and children are unknown. He is a wonderful companion that needs plenty of exercise combined with lots of love and attention. He does not like to be alone, and since he really prefers to be with his family, he would probably do best as an only dog. There is no adoption fee. If you will welcome Murphy into a loving home as part of your family, please call Kathy any time before 7 PM at 520-232-3915.

Hi… my name is Niko,

Adopted 11-28-22

I am an affectionate, fun-loving, young Labrador-mix male who loves to play. I like to play a little “ruff,” though, so I will need a strong leader who can channel my exuberance. Oh, and you should know, I LOVE toys. I love them sooo much that I prefer to keep them all to myself. However, I can sometimes be coaxed into sharing with the words: “Niko not nice.”  (Rut-Roh, maybe I shouldn’t have told you that.) Aw well, since I’m blabbing, I know other human words, too, such as “sit,” “roll over,” “paw,” and . . . drum roll . . . I even know how to tell you when I need to go potty. C’mon, let’s meet! Maybe I’ll let you throw my toys for me, and the retriever in me may even retrieve. (Wink.)

Hi… my name is Nova,

Adopted with Astra 10-17-22

After being found in their yard, the friendly “human” resident came out to greet me. Then, as hospitality dictates, I was fed, walked, and driven to TALGV, where there awaited a pleasant surprise. Upon arriving, it seemed like the volunteers were discussing me and someone named Astra. After we were brought together, looking almost identical, they decided we were probably sisters. Neither Astra nor I would confirm or deny our relationship. But we know! I’m a little more outgoing than Astra, but like her I am also very friendly, affectionate, and sweet. I also walk well on a leash, can use a doggie door, and recently passed my “cat test.” Great minds think alike because I too am interested in a family who’s been looking for someone just like me. Look no further! Here I am!

Hi… my name is Astra,

Adopted with Nova 10-17-22

Being a lost 1 ½-year-old female Lab can be a scary position to be in. Just ask me! Luckily there are friendly people out there who are willing to help. I was escorted to TALGV, where caring volunteers made me feel at home. I was a little shy at first! Then a couple of days later another Lab (Nova), who looked exactly like me, was brought in. Now we room together, and I’m no longer alone. People here believe we’re probably sisters, but neither of us will confirm this. I walk well on a leash and I’m very friendly, sweet, and affectionate. I use the doggie door and  recently passed “the cat test.” Personally I believe there’s a family out there just waiting for a girl like me. Hello! Your waiting is over!

Ken

Hi… my name is Ken,

Adopted 10-4-22

My sister Barbie and I were found and brought to TALGV by a good Samaritan. Boy, did we luck out: We got to stay with a foster mom and a big Lab to show us the ropes. Mom says I am 95% potty trained and that I’m really sweet. I guess she means that I like to snuggle and be near her. I‘ve gotten along with everyone I’ve met, both two and four legged. I already understand the word, “no,” although I’m always doing something fun right when she says it. (That’s just between us!) Leash training is next, mom says, after I get my last shots. Whatever that means! I’m ready. I think. Barbie and I are hoping to find our forever homes real soon.

Hi… my name is Barbie,

My brother Ken and I were found and brought to TALGV by a good Samaritan. Boy, did we luck out: We got to stay with a foster mom and a big Lab to show us the ropes. Mom says I am working on potty training and that I’m really sweet. I’m ready. I think. Ken has found his forever home, so I would like to find mine real soon.

Hi… my name is Conner,

\Adopted 10-23-22

You could say that I am of unusual parentage, with one being a lab and the other a little doxie. But if you ask me, that only makes me the perfect size dog! I am perfect in other ways, too: I walk well on a leash, behave when left alone at home, alert you to strangers and when I need to go potty. My previous person said that I don’t get along with some dogs or kids. But you don’t like just anybody either, do you? How about we meet at the shelter and find out how we like each other? (If you give good belly rubs, we’ll be halfway there already!) If we do, we can go home together and I can keep you company, sit next to you, and snuggle.

NOTE: Conner has been social, tolerant, and playful when meeting other dogs in TALGV’s playgroup. He would like to meet any resident dogs before adoption to your home.
