Hi… my name is Mack,

Adopted with Jack 9-27-17

Comes with FREE Vet Care for Life

“Mack is a loving, gentle dog, who needs a new home.” That’s how Dad described me, explaining that he and Mom gave me up only due to their own health and housing situation (assisted living). I had happy years with them, along with Jack, my Poodle/Bichon buddy, and Dad called me “a wonderful dog—a great companion,” adding that I’m very comfortable in most situations, love attention, and like to eat most things (including Jack’s food, given the chance!). I’m a 20-pound Maltese mix male, almost 11 years old and so I have free vet care for life. I walk well on a leash, behave well off leash, and enjoy my walks here, but having known the joys of home, that’s where I’m hoping to go soon and forever. Could it be with you?

Hi… my name is Buddy.

I was adopted September 18, 2014.

When my mom died a while ago, there was no one in the family who would take my brother and me in (he already found a home, lucky guy!), so I’m hopeful that there are lots of people out there who will be vying to take me home, too! Given my breed mix (Poodle and Maltese — a “Maltipoo”!) you know that I’m a sweet, gentle, lovable guy who adores (make that CRAVES) human attention. I also got along great with all the kids (ranging in age from two to ten) who visited, so just color me an all around great “find” for someone. I not very old, and have lots of living to do, so let’s do it together, shall we?

Arrived September 2, 2014.

Oscar was adopted through TALGV’s Offsite program on September 1, 2014.

OSCAR is a sweet 4 ½-year-old Champagne-colored Maltese mix boy who was rescued two years ago by current owner. He is housebroken and uses the doggy door, but he really enjoys his morning and evening walks. He is neutered, is up to date on his shots, has a microchip, and medical records are available. Oscar likes other dogs and is very social with everyone; he doesn’t bark, chew or dig. Cats are unknown. He is not obedience trained but really has no bad behavior and sleeps under owners’ bed at night. At 22 pounds, he is about 4 pounds overweight but that is due to food being down all the time for owners’ older dog. Oscar loves being with his people and prefers to be on their laps but there is concern that owner’s frail skin will be damaged by Oscar’s nails so they feel he would be better in another home. There is no adoption fee for Oscar. To arrange a meeting, please call Jim between 8 AM and 8 PM at 520-955-7720.
