PEACHES is a sweet, quiet, well-behaved, 6-year-old, 25-pound DoxiePoo female who needs a new home. She is in good health, spayed, shots are up to date, and medical records are available. Peaches is housebroken and asks to go out. She knows sit, walk, and no. Peaches is leash trained and loves to walk. She is a champion napper and likes to sleep late in the morning. She needs to be your only pet as she loves her adult person but does not get along well with other animals or children. There is no adoption fee. If you will welcome Peaches into a loving home as part of your family, please call Mary weekdays after 4 PM or weekends any time at 831-246-1790.

Hi… my name is Penny,

Adopted 5-18-25

I’m a stunning girl who arrived at TALGV after being found abandoned, alone and scared, in a nearby pecan field. I’ve since been fully vetted, spayed, and ready to start my quest to find a loving family. A few things about me: I like to take my time getting to know someone, so if you’re patient and respectful, I’ll show you the playful, fun side of me. I LOVE going for car rides and walks to explore all the sights, sounds, and scents. I also wait to ‘go’ until we are on a walk, so I’m likely housetrained. I’m unsure of other dogs; are they friendly or not? While my TALGV friends help me figure this out, please come by and ask to meet me. Maybe I’m the Penny that brings us BOTH good luck!

Hi… my name is Aries,

COMES WITH VET CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE

I’m baffled and bewildered! I got returned like an Amazon package, although I’m the TOTAL package: I come with Vet Care Support for Life, I’m house-trained, leash-savvy, know my manners (“sit,” “lay,” “heel”), and I’m happy to alert you when nature calls. I don’t do chicken or grain, but I’m not picky—just a little allergy-prone. Now here are my non-negotiable “pawlicies”:  1. I’m strong on a leash if we encounter other animals. My adopter needs to know how to redirect me.  2.  There can be no other animals in the home.  Nope.  Nothing furry, feathered or otherwise. Just humans. I love people. I’ll be your shadow, your fan club, your couch buddy for life. All I ask is to be your one and only. I’ll give you 100% of my heart—no sharing required. Sound good?

If you are considering adoption, please call TALGV office (520-625-3170) and make a date to meet me. Kennel appointments are between 10 and 2 every day.

Hi… my name is Vanilla Wafer (aka Nilla),

COMES WITH VET CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE

I’m learning the world isn’t so scary. Walks are my favorite—especially those with a bunny scent! I’m getting braver every day: strangers don’t scare me like they used to, especially if they have a calm, friendly dog. I’ll need a few meetups at my favorite park to get comfortable, so please let me go at my own pace. I’m house-trained, use a doggie door, and know a few commands. Once I trust you, my silly side shines—perhaps relocating shoes or the remote. I love toys, car rides, and splashing in a kiddie pool. My foster buddy helps boost my confidence, and I’m discovering how fun being a dog can be. No little kids for me, but a patient heart? Yes, please! The best things in life—like me with Vet Care Support for Life—are worth working for.

If you are considering adoption, please call TALGV office (520-625-3170) and make a date to meet me soon. Kennel appointments are between 10 and 2 every day.

COMES WITH VETC CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE

Did you know “America’s Favorite Cookie” now has Vet Care Support for Life? Yes! Even perfection can be improved upon. Have I come a LONG way! I’m now in a foster home with two other dogs who have guided me on how to make the most of this experience. Being the Smart Cookie that I am, I’ve quickly learned the household routines: play time, feeding times, outdoor/potty times, walk time, bed times. I would definitely benefit from having a friendly canine companion in the home.  A kiddie pool would be a big plus in the summer.  While I’m shy when meeting someone new, you’ll earn my trust if I’m given enough time, patience and treats. I may be America’s Favorite Cookie, but do you think I can be YOURS?
If you are considering adoption, please call TALGV office (520-625-3170) and make a date to meet me soon. Kennel appointments are between 10 and 2 every day.

Hi… my name is Domino,

Adopted 4-10-25

What do people love about Dominoes? They’re easy to play with, fun, and really distinct, which perfectly describes me. I am a sweet girl who is easy-going and full of love. My spotted coat and blue eyes make me stand out in a crowd. I seem to be able to get along with other dogs since I had a buddy when I arrived at TALGV, but I’m ready to join a new home with a warm bed and daily food delivery. I am energetic but know how to sit and wait (especially if you offer a treat). I walk well on a leash and love to sniff the world outside. I would love to join your family game night, and you don’t have to worry about cheating because I don’t have any pockets. See you soon!

Hi… my name is Dominick,

Adopted 5-26-25

Sometimes the universe is just on your side, ya’ know? I was running loose with my buddy, looking for my next meal, when someone brought us to TALGV. We weren’t sure if we should be scared or not, but then they gave us SO much good food, a bath, a soft bed, and all of these people who were loving on us, and I realized that this is all okay with me. I like food…a lot…but I also like all the snuggles and cuddles. I’m a handsome, intelligent boy who is excellent on a leash and easy to train due to my affinity for snacks. I’m ready for my own home and family. I trust that the universe will bring me the right person; am I meant to be a part of your family?

Hi… my name is Molly (aka Mango),

Adopted 3-9-25

My siblings and I were found all alone, six 8-week-old puppies, near a busy road. That was our rocky beginning but look at us now! We’ve been growing and learning, getting accustomed to collars and leashes, and having all kinds of fun. Of course, we have our individual personalities, but attributes we share include a love of playing every day, healthy appetites and being super smart! (That “super smart” part should help with learning lots of important dog lessons!) We have the confidence for adventure, a puppy supply of energy, and volunteers say we’re all doing well on our daily walks. I’m Mango, a beautiful Hound mix female with expressive dark brown eyes. I’d be very happy to share an active fun-filled life with you and hope that I can make you happy too!   (5-2024)

Hi… my name is Remi Boy,

COMES WITH VET CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE

For many lovely years, my special person and I shared a quiet, happy life. But when her health issues meant she had to go elsewhere, I came to The Animal League and what a big change that’s been. All the company, activities and commotion! For several days, I just stayed on my little bed and watched. But it turns out that this old dog can adjust! I’m now eating the food served here, occasionally step out to greet people, and walk well on leash with my new friends. (They’ve noticed I potty only on those walks outside.) And thanks to my age, I have Vet Care Support for Life! So that’s me: A dog in my golden years who could be a perfect match for a kind, loving someone. Could that be you?
