Hi… my name is Atticus,

Adopted 10-19-25

My last name isn’t Finch, but it doesn’t mean I can’t still be the hero of your story. I am a young, handsome guy who is probably going to have a big body (based on my feet) and who definitely has lots of love to offer (based on my heart). My foster family reports that I am pretty special—I am nearly housetrained and I LOVE playing with other dogs. Have a pool, a water dish, or just a hose? Perfect, because I love water. I like spending time with my pack (human and dog), and I’m getting the hang of this leash thing. I’m a sweet, goofy pup who will grow to be an absolute heartbreaker! If you have a family in need of main character energy, I’m the perfect boy for you.

Hi… my name is Raven,

Adopted 10-16-25

Foster Notes: Raven – he was really rambunctious when he first came to stay with us, but he has calmed down quite a bit and will cry out to be picked up. He likes toys the most of all 3 and enjoys playing with them and tugging on an old sock or whatever with a human (he will run after a small ball where the other two are less interested). He is also very sweet and also likes being held and cuddled. His favorite activity is wrestling a toy away from Boo or Poe. He is the least potty trained of the three and slightly less interested in food than the other two. He is very athletic and needs to move a lot. He loves new sounds (like a drum or ukelele and listens intently).

All three puppies know to go outside to the front porch after a meal and overnight consistently go potty in the same corner of the pen. They come when called and are really good sleepers (they sleep pretty much 6-9 hours at night – which is amazing). They make a small yelping sound if they want to be held (not that often, but sometimes). They all love Sarah Brightman music or any soothing music and fall right to sleep to it. We played music when the wrestling was getting a bit out of hand and it seemed to do the trick. We did not try to take them on any walks and just kept them in a few rooms in the house and the enclosed front porch. They were held a lot by our family members and some friends and seemed good with all kinds of people both male and female, but no kids that we know (sorry!). They never went potty when holding them.

If you are considering adoption, please call TALGV office (520-625-3170) and make a date to meet me soon. Kennel appointments are between 10 and 2 every day.

Boo

Hi… my name is Boo,

Adopted 10-18-25

Boo is the strongest and most assertive of the 3. She LOVES to wrestle with her brothers and prefers that activity over toys. Raven and Poe look up to her and follow her lead. If Boo barks or is afraid – they bark and are afraid too. If she’s calm they are all calm. She’s the bravest and when she tries something new, they then copy her. When all 3 are together she will snap at our kitty or at Katy (another doggie who visits us) and seems scared. However, when we hold her away from her brothers she doesn’t bark and is calmly sniffing them. Boo is really smart and sits and stays well. She is the furthest along in being potty-trained and does her business as soon as she’s let outside. She’s very sweet and likes being held and falling asleep in your lap. She listens and is curious. She likes to lick and chew (especially shoes). Boo loves the little furry doggie bed and drags it around and often tries to dump the other 2 out of it, but usually the 3 end up sleeping all together in it. Hopefully she can keep the doggie bed with her for a while until she has a new home. All 3 puppies know to go outside to the front porch after a meal and overnight consistently go potty in the same corner of the pen. Poe

Hi… my name is Poe,

Adopted 10-18-25

Foster Notes: Poe – he was definitely the runt when we first got him and had a hard time fending off the wrestling overtures of the other two. He’s since gotten a bit stronger and has learned that if he barks, he can get the other two to back off a bit. So he barks the most of the three (at his siblings but not at people) and is quite fast and resourceful. He loves playing with his siblings but uses brain instead of muscle to try and outsmart them. Poe will often sit and chew on a toy while Boo and Raven tussle with one another. Poe likes to dig and find things (like if you hide something in the sand). He is very calm and loving and also likes being in your lap. He is totally food-oriented and more independent than the other two.  All 3 puppies know to go outside to the front porch after a meal and overnight consistently go potty in the same corner of the pen. They come when called and are really good sleepers (they sleep pretty much 6-9 hours at night – which is amazing). They make a small yelping sound if they want to be held (not that often, but sometimes). They all love any soothing music and fall right to sleep to it. Frankie is a spunky and loyal 7-year-old, 47-pound Heeler mix female who needs a new home. She is crate trained, leash trained, and obedience trained (knows: sit, go to your bed, lay, shake, stay, wait and leave it). She is housebroken and asks to go out. She is in good health, spayed, and medical records are available. Frankie usually gets along with other dogs and children and is a great companion, but she mostly likes her own space. She does not like sudden loud noises. She likes to play with her stuffed animal and ball and enjoys lounging in the sun, going on desert strolls, rolling in the grass, going camping, and car rides. There is no adoption fee for this sweet girl.

If you will welcome Frankie into a loving home as part of your family, please call Isadore between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. at 520-999-1157.

Hi… my name is Reuben,

Adopted 10-14-25

At just 14 pounds, I may look like a puff of fluff, but make no mistake—I run a tight ship. I’m a disciplined little fellow who believes the day should begin by 5 a.m. at the latest.  No soldier ever overslept on my watch! I’m house-trained, leash-trained, and crate-trained, and I take my duties seriously: maintaining order, alerting you to any suspicious noises, and enforcing routine. Thunderstorms are my only weakness—I prefer to bunker down in a covered crate until the skies clear. I love car rides, tolerate the groomer’s nonsense, and consider myself commander-in-chief of the household. My ideal post? A quiet home with one loyal human, no other pets, and plenty of respect for my rank. Follow protocol, and I’ll be your devoted little shadow—early mornings guaranteed.

Hi… my name is Princess,

Adopted 12-4-25

Once upon a time, a petite pup named Princess arrived at TALGV after her owner could no longer care for her. That’s me!  Now I’m hoping for my fairy-tale ending. I may not wear a crown, but I do have royal manners—I appear to be housetrained, and I love my crate (my own castle!). I walk like royalty on a leash and always try to please. I can be shy at first, but once I know you, I’ll happily shower you with love. Cats? I found them interesting and tempting to chase. Other dogs? I enjoy walks with them, but I prefer to choose my own friends. What I really want is a family who’ll treasure me as much as I’ll treasure them. Adopt me and we’ll live Happily Ever After in our own Kingdom.
