Hi… my name is Snooky,

I’m a gentle, thoughtful girl who prefers to take life at a slower, quieter pace. I’ve been feeling a bit scared in the shelter, so I’m now staying in a calm foster home with an older, laid-back dog while I decompress and figure things out. Honestly? It’s been a relief. When the shelter volunteers tried to introduce me to a friendly dog, I let them know I wasn’t ready yet. I believe in boundaries. Shy dogs like me need time to build trust and that trust is worth waiting for. I learn best by watching the world before jumping into it, taking notes from the sidelines.
