What’s the plural of Pekingese? I should know—I arrived as one of five! (Turns out, the plural is the same as the singular.) Our person’s own health concern meant she could no longer care for us, so we’re here—a mix of colors, genders, ages and weights, each of us needing a new loving home. I’m a shy, 3-year-old white female, 12-1/2 pounds. I’ve gotten along with my litter mates and my person said I was gentle and tolerant, but I’ve not been around children. Being in a crate is familiar to me, but going on a walk is brand new! Once I get used to the leash, I’m finding a big beautiful world out there. And the best thing in that world? For me, that would be a happy life with you!

APRIL is a cute, social, and sweet 6-year-old, 14-pound purebred Pekingese (no papers) who needs a new home. Her dad died and dogs in new family are not welcoming her. She is okay with other dogs, but cats and children are unknown. She is spayed and up to date on her shots. Medical records are available. She is housebroken and asks to go out. April is very affectionate, loves to walk, and usually sleeps with owner. She needs to be in a home with someone who has time to dote on her. There is no adoption fee. ROSCOE is cute and sweet 7-pound, 7-year-old Yorkie/Peke mix boy who needs a new home for economic reasons. He loves to walk, run, and play with his two tennis balls. Although he has lots of energy, Roscoe is crate trained and is very calm in the house. He has been neutered shots are up to date. Roscoe would be a great companion dog for someone who likes to have fun. He gets along with other dogs, but needs to be an only dog since he demands a lot of attention; older children would be okay.
