Hi… my name is Lina,

Adopted 5-30-17

What’s the plural of Pekingese? I should know—I arrived as one of five! (Turns out, the plural is the same as the singular.) Our person’s own health concern meant she could no longer care for us, so we’re here—a mix of colors, genders, ages and weights, each of us needing a new loving home. I’m a shy, 3-year-old white female, 12-1/2 pounds. I’ve gotten along with my litter mates and my person said I was gentle and tolerant, but I’ve not been around children. Being in a crate is familiar to me, but going on a walk is brand new! Once I get used to the leash, I’m finding a big beautiful world out there. And the best thing in that world? For me, that would be a happy life with you!

Hi… my name is Jade,

What’s the plural of Pekingese? I should know—I arrived as one of five! (Turns out, the plural is the same as the singular.) Our person’s own health concern meant she could no longer care for us, so we’re here—a mix of colors, genders, ages and weights, each of us needing a new loving home. I’m a handsome 2-1/2-year-old white male, (the youngest of our little group), right at 15 pounds. According to my person, I’ve lived with senior citizens, but I’ve never been around children. Being in a crate is familiar, but going on a walk is brand new to me! Once I understand the leash part, I’m finding it’s a big beautiful world out there. And for me, the best thing in that world would be a happy life with you!

Our person’s own health concern meant she couldn’t care for us, so we’re here—a mix of colors, genders, ages and weights, each of us needing a new loving home. I’m a 4-1/2-year-old blond male, 18 pounds, and for fun, I play with my toy ball. According to my person, I get along with people of a gentle nature, but not with other male dogs, and I’ve never been around children. I’m used to being in a crate, but going on a walk is brand new. I’m finding a big beautiful world out there. And for me, the best thing in that world would be a happy life with you!

APRIL is a cute, social, and sweet 6-year-old, 14-pound purebred Pekingese (no papers) who needs a new home. Her dad died and dogs in new family are not welcoming her. She is okay with other dogs, but cats and children are unknown. She is spayed and up to date on her shots. Medical records are available. She is housebroken and asks to go out. April is very affectionate, loves to walk, and usually sleeps with owner. She needs to be in a home with someone who has time to dote on her. There is no adoption fee. ROSCOE is cute and sweet 7-pound, 7-year-old Yorkie/Peke mix boy who needs a new home for economic reasons. He loves to walk, run, and play with his two tennis balls. Although he has lots of energy, Roscoe is crate trained and is very calm in the house. He has been neutered shots are up to date. Roscoe would be a great companion dog for someone who likes to have fun. He gets along with other dogs, but needs to be an only dog since he demands a lot of attention; older children would be okay. There is no adoption fee. If you would welcome Roscoe into a loving home as part of your family, please call Mary Ellen between 8 AM and 8 PM at 520-603-4441.

Beethoven is a very smart 16-pound, 7-year-old male neutered Pekingese who needs a new home because owner is no longer able to care for him. He knows commands such as come, sit, sit-up, down and go night-night. He loves to travel in his crate and likes to sleep in it at night. He is great on walks with his harness. He also likes to play fetch with his ball for short periods. When he was a pup he was attacked by a neighbor dog and since then is nervous around other dogs. Beethoven will do best with an only-pet, no-child family. He likes routine. He is complete house trained. All shots are up to date and he is microchipped. (All records available.) Adoption to an older family would be best as that is what he is accustomed to. He likes to sit at the end of the recliner while owner watches TV in-between his walks! There is no adoption fee and Beethoven will come with his create, harness, and toys.

If you will welcome Beethoven into a loving home as part of your family, please call Brent between 8 AM and 8 PM at 520-223-6363.
