Hi… my name is Bella “D”,

Adopted with Jimmy 11-23-20

Comes with Free Vet Care for Life

I am a petite Schipperke lady with soft, black fur. The breed is also known as Spitz, meaning “pointy,” and it describes my muzzle perfectly! But I want you to know that I am not sticking my tongue out at you; it just usually hangs out one side of my mouth, more like a signature look! I came here with my pal Jimmy because our Mom got sick. If you come to visit us, I will probably greet you at the door while Jimmy is a bit less outgoing and usually hangs back in the crate. At our ages, we won’t need much: love, some food, a bit of care. We both come with vet care support for life and, if possible, we’d like to stay together.

If you are considering adoption, please call TALGV office (520-625-3170) and make a date to meet me soon. Kennel appointments are between 10 and 2 every day.

Hi… my name is Rowdy,

Returned to previous owner 4-13-19

Back when I was a “too tiny puppy,” I was rescued from a puppy mill. My human mom and dad believed that’s why I’ve always been anxious and distrustful of people generally, but Mom and I developed a “deep and abiding love for each other,” (quoting her niece). For 8 years, I was happy as could be with Mom and Dad, and “they would never in a million years have given me up” if serious illness had not made it impossible for them to take care of me. As hard as it was to say goodbye, Mom said it gave her great peace of mind to know I’d be well cared for. And since she believed in me, I do too. Someone else will love lively, unique little me, and I’m hoping it’s you.

Hi… my name is Aven,

Adopted 4-23-17

Aven comes with FREE Vet Care for Life.

My former owner and I had some great years together, but now, due to health issues, she’s moving to an apartment where I can’t go, so here I am: A 13-year-old, 8 pound Schipperke female, looking for love again. I hope it helps that I’m adorable with lots of positive qualities (which I’m glad to mention), plus this comforting thing: I come with FREE vet care for life! And as for those good qualities: I’ve lived with and gotten along with cats (not everyone can say that), I’m leash trained, good in the house when you’re gone, not afraid of thunderstorms, and my former owner couldn’t think of a person or animal I didn’t get along with! And as for you, well, make me yours and I’ll cherish you always as my forever friend.

Hi… my name is Adam.

Adopted July 18, 2015

There’s new paradigm of enthusiasm in town and it’s me! My sister, Eve, and I followed a woman into her yard and tried our doggone best to convince her to let us stay, but she already had three dogs and that seemed to be enough for her. She said we were great, fun dogs, though, and would make first-rate additions to any home. If you come sit with me for just five seconds, I’ll squirm into your lap, give you countless soft kisses, and tell you just how important it is that you become mine! I’m a delightful, approximately 1-year-old Schipperke mix, so like all my breed, am going to need a “job” to do to keep my agile brain occupied. Oh, and I’ll also bond with you like epoxy and be your protector forever!
