Carnival

Hi… my name is Carnival,

Adopted 12-31-23

On a warm September evening, our brave and beautiful mother gave birth to my siblings and me right here at The Animal League! She’d been found and brought to TALGV just two days earlier, so we were very lucky to start our lives in this safe and comfy place. Since then, we’ve been busy growing, learning—I’m already walking well on a leash—and playing. We’ve had all kinds of fun playing together and with human friends, but now things are changing. Most of my siblings have found their new homes and I’m hoping it’s my turn very soon. I’m a fun-loving, handsome Staffie mix male, ready to go home with my forever family. If you could welcome puppy love and energy in your life, please come meet me as soon as you can!

Louie

I’m a popular pup with lots of great friends, but in my own little way—from my puppy point of view—I know life will be even better when I belong to someone! My finder couldn’t keep me and so left me at a vet’s office. They took care of me overnight and then brought me here, where I’ve heard lots about dogs and happy people taking them home. Those stories help me believe there’s a wonderful someone for me, too. I’m 2 months old, an adorable tan and white Staffie mix male, 12 pounds and growing. What’s big in my little life? People and playing! Plus toys, eating, napping—it’s all good. So, how about we share this wonderful life! Make me yours and I’ll do my best to make you happy forever.

Maggie

Hi… my name is Maggie.

I was adopted July 9, 2014.

I appeared on the front porch of a home in Amado last year and stayed there for three weeks while he looked for my owners. During that time there was one of those rare winter storms and I didn’t like being outside in that at all! Well, for now the storms are gone (and apparently so are my erstwhile owners!), so here I am, looking for a safe haven where I can weather the summer monsoons in the home of my new family. I’m a lovely Staffie/Boxer mix girl, and I even know commands like sit, stay, down, and shake, so someone loved me enough to teach me them at one time. I’d make a great watchdog, and although I’m not fond of other dogs (I’ve never been around cats), I adore people and giving kisses, so have great expectations that you’ll want me to share them with you!
