Hi… my name is Kehlani,

Adopted 3-6-24

A year ago, I was fortunate to find what I thought was my Forever Family. Sadly, my owner passed away and other family members couldn’t keep me, so now I’m back at TALGV. But despite losing my family and home, I am a playful, affectionate and VERY happy girl. I have house manners and know how to use a doggie door or ask to go outside. I’ve been good with kids but can be shy with some men. (Maybe I’m playing ‘hard to get’ – LOL!). While I lived with other dogs of all sizes, small dogs (and cats) look more like toys I’d like to chase.  Speaking of toys, I’m passionate about them and treats. Please come meet me and I’ll happily show you why friends say I’m a beauty with brains to match!

Hi… my name is Winnie,

Adopted 5-3-21

FOUND – PLEASE CALL TALGV OFFICE FOR INFORMATION

Do you have a shoulder for me to lean on? I am a beautiful, young Weimaraner lady. My breed is smart, eager to please and quick to learn. We are also active and highly energetic dogs who need lots of exercise and play. We are loyal to our families and often shower them with affection. I, for example, like to put my head on my human’s shoulder when I want to cuddle, and I will give you hugs and nuzzle you to ask for more. I have been told that I walk well on a leash and listen attentively when being talked to or taught something new. Cats are okay with me. (Actually, I find them kind of boring!) I like making new friends. How about it? Can we become friends forever?

Hi… my name is Vinnie,

Adopted 4-24-19

I’ve come to believe that sometimes even the broken road takes you where you need to go. I was adopted but then my person went back to school, then someone moved and someone else took me, but I didn’t get along with her dogs (I arrived with some minor wounds from that), and so I’m here. Yes, all this has made me a little shy and wary, but you probably know what I’m hoping for—that someone will see my potential. Someone will know that what I need is a little guidance, some kindness, and lots of love. I’m a strong guy (so you should be, too), who’s eager to learn how to trust again and how to please, and my greatest strength is my heart. Will you let me give it to you?

Adopted 6-13-18

SASHA is a beautiful 1 ½-year-old Weimaraner that needs a new home as owner is having severe allergic reaction to her after being with them since a puppy. She weighs 70 pounds, is spayed, current on shots, and is in excellent health (medical records available). Sasha is housebroken and asks to go out. She is loving, enjoys lots of exercise including training, playing with small dogs, and fetching her toys. She is obedience, leash, and crate trained; prefers to sleep in her covered crate. There is no adoption fee.

If you would welcome Sasha into your heart and home, please call Richard between 10 AM and 4 PM at 928-239-8894.

Hi… my name is Wylie,

Adopted 3-16-17

I was found near a grocery store—a stunningly handsome blue-gray Weimaraner male, 63 pounds (a little thin for my physique) and about 2-1/2 years old. And that’s all we know for sure about my past, but a couple of the volunteers have some intuition about me. For one thing, I’m often overjoyed with human company, so I may have been very lonely before being found. I can be a good walker on my end of the leash if the human on the other end is a good, strong walker, too—one who reminds me of things I’ve probably learned before. Maybe you’ll get good vibes from me, too. I hope so. And here’s something I know for sure: If you give me a good, loving home, I’ll be your loyal, devoted companion forever.

Hi… my name is Piper,

Adopted with Abigail June 3, 2016

I’m here at TALGV with Abigail, my canine BFF, because our person wants the best for us. Due to health issues, she no longer can give us the care and active lifestyle she wants us to enjoy, so we need a new home where love and fun abound. I’m a 4-year-old tan and white female, about 70 pounds, and—per my DNA test—mainly Weimaraner and Manchester Terrier. I’m leash trained, have good house manners, and know “sit,” “down,” and “come.” That’s important stuff, but you should also know that I’m affectionate, sweet and playful, love stuffed squeaky toys, and I also love Abigail. We want to stay together. So if you can love us both, we’ll double our efforts to make sure you’re happy being loved every day by your grateful doggie duo!
