I’m a 10-pound legend in my own mind. I came in with a gal named Juliet, but don’t worry, I’m not heartbroken—turns out I seem to be perfectly fine flying solo. I’m independent, opinionated, and not one for being told what to do. Want to pick me up or put a leash on me? Prepare for a dramatic protest worthy of an Oscar. But if I choose you, in time I’ll warm up and may hop into your lap like we’ve been buddies forever. I’m sweet on my own terms, thank you very much. What I really need is a safe, enclosed yard, a human who respects my space, and someone who doesn’t mistake me for a pushover just because I’m small. Love me for who I am, and I’ll adore you right back.
