Adopted 5-4-24

SAMPSON is an energetic and affectionate one-year-old, 70-pound, Belgian Malinois mix male who needs a new home with a strong leader. He walks well on leash and needs to walk about 30 minutes at least twice a day. He loves to play fetch outside in the yard and enjoys chewing on Nylabones and other chew toys. He is crate trained, house trained, and asks to go out. He is in good health, neutered, up to date on shots, and medical records are available. Sampson needs to be an only pet as he does not get along well with other dogs and cats; children are unknown. He knows sit and stay and will love having attention in an active home and learning how to be your best friend. There is no adoption fee for this special boy. If you will welcome Sampson into a loving home as part of your family, please call Max any time at 520-425-6555.

Hi… my name is Patches,

Adopted 6-1-24

A flop ear is usually a dog thing, but since I’m so special I’ve got my own version – it’s just “slightly off” they say, but immensely charming! My first mom relinquished me because she was only allowed one pet and the darn dog got to stay (I thought that was a terrible idea).  My second mom passed away. I’ve been known to love cat scratchers, treats, sitting on laps, and sleeping on or under her bed. I can be “needy” in that I do crave attention, am playful and kitten-like.  Although I’m initially shy with strangers, once we get to know each other, we’ll be strangers no more!

Hi… my name is Sasha,

Adopted 2-2-25

For several years I lived with dad, and after he passed away I went to his son’s home.  However, there were other cats there and I didn’t fit in—I’m not good with dogs, either. I prefer just human company! Here at The Animal League I’ve been a little shy, sleeping under a cat tree—but will come out to meet you. I like petting, brushing and scratching. My coat is a beautiful silver blue, and I have some white spots on my chest and belly. Are you looking for a companion too? Please come meet me, and we’ll see if it was meant to be!

Hi… my name is Maiar,

Adopted 10-23-24

I have an otherworldly name, from The Lord of the Rings—and I find myself in another world right now! My first owner died, leaving me a little discombobulated; in my second home I did not get along with the other cat. Here at The Animal League, I haven’t always been friendly with my roommates, so maybe it would be best for me to be an only cat. So first on my wish list for a new home is someplace on the quiet side where I can be the Alpha Male in peace. I’m an orange boy, not too big. Do you have a peaceful place that needs another beating heart?

Hi… my name is Clover,

Adopted 6-3-24

Although my siblings and I were once tiny puppies without a home, we were also twice blessed: our mom was with us and we were brought to The Animal League! Here we’ve been safe and loved, and have quickly become the happy, active pups we are today. I’m Clover, the beautiful tan and white female with deep brown eyes. Along with my siblings, I’m said to be doing well on daily walks on leash, and we continue to learn commands and other things good dogs know.  Since we’re already experts at having fun, I say the future is bright. Of course, I’m hoping my future will be in my forever home, loved and guided by a very special someone. If you could be my someone—the one who chooses me—please visit soon.
