I’m an athletic, striking young guy who thrives with activity, structure, and people who enjoy training as much as I enjoy playing. I love people, toys, and interactive fun — long walks, games of tug, and learning new skills. I’m strong on leash now, but I’m working on it with my volunteer friends and improving every day. I may not be the size of the state I’m named after (other than my ears), but my heart and manners are pretty big. I was adopted as a puppy and returned because my owner moved out of state and couldn’t take me. What?! Is that a thing? I didn’t get the memo. I’m a calm, house-trained guy who walks great on leash and doesn’t react to other dogs — even when they’re loudly sharing their opinions.
