Hi… my name is Some-A,

Adopted by previous owner 4-21-24

If you think I got my name based on the fact that I’m “some- a-this and some-a-that” breed, you’d be right! I’m 100% unique: from my expressive eyes to my gorgeous coat and build, it all adds up to the one-of-a-kind, stunning me! I’m athletic, bubbly, eager to please, and would likely excel in agility. My manners are impeccable. I love going for walks with my two- and four-legged friends. Once I decide you are one of ‘my people,’ I’m the most loyal, loveable girl you’ll ever meet. All I ask from you is to give me time to earn my trust. My devotion is proof that anything worth having is worth working for. Come spend some time with me and see for yourself. I guarantee your heart will melt.

Hi… my name is Sugar,

Adopted with Spice 5-27-24

If I’m a little shy when we first meet, I hope you’ll understand. Once upon a time I was lost and had to be very careful. But here at TALGV, I’m growing more comfortable every day. My TALGV friends tell me I’m adorable and that helps. As a young adult I continue to learn but already know some important things. For instance, I appear to be housetrained as I “go” on my walks here, I’ve been good on a leash and understand the word “stay.” And here’s a secret:  I’m what they call food motivated. In other words, treats often hold my interest and make me happy.  I’m a female Pug mix with a tan coat and sparkling brown eyes who’d really like to meet you. Maybe you and I could share many happy times together.

Max

Adopted 4-8-24

MAX is a friendly, sweet, and obedient 10-year-old, 36-pound, Whippet male that needs a new home. His female companion Whippet died last Fall and his senior owners died recently. He is great on a leash, is house trained (asks to go out), and likes to use a doggy door. He is neutered, in good health, and up to date on shots. He has gotten along with children over age 9 and female dogs, but he really dislikes cats. The ideal home for Max would be with another whippet, a yard, and a doggy door. He is a loving and loyal companion that needs someone who is mostly at home. There is no adoption fee. If you will welcome Max into a loving home as part of your family, please call Barbara between 8 AM and 6 PM at 520-326-2170.

She takes medication (will be sponsored if needed), is spayed, and medical records are available. She gets along with cats but not other dogs; children are unknown. Cristina likes sunbathing and relaxing with her person. Her caretaker will sponsor professional training to help her become your loyal companion. There is no adoption fee. Hi… my name is Gabby,

RAINBOW BRIDGE 3-5-24

Adopted by Cat Care Volunteers as TALGV Official Greeter 8-24-21

Hi there! I’m a happy calm lady who couldn’t be more sweet and gentle. I’m a dainty 12-year-old dilute calico (with vet care support for life), and my favorite thing to do is sit in your lap and purr (head rubs are good too!). As a stray kitten, a kind man took me in, but upon his passing, I’m homeless again. I don’t know how I’d feel about living with kids, dogs, or other cats, as I’ve had no experience with them that we know about, so I’d probably do better in a quieter home.  If you’re looking for a perfect lap cat I’m your girl. I’d like nothing better than retire with you!

Hi… my name is Diamond,

Adopted 4-27-24

After being found in Arivaca, I looked like I’d been through the wars. I was brought to The Animal League where I was checked over, treated and made to feel safe and at home. After all that, my true self shone through proving that I’m a gentle, calm and sweet girl. I walk well on a leash and understand the commands “sit” and “leave it.” I’m an approximately 2-year-old, white, female Husky with beautiful blue eyes that seem to look deep into your soul. I travel well in a car and enjoy going on fun outings. I passed the “cat test” and seem to show an interest in children. There is another thing I’m interested in, my own forever home. All I offer and ask of you in return is love and companionship forever.
