Hi… my name is Dewdrop,

Adopted with Lemon Drop 5-27-23

Why do humans move and leave their pets behind? That’s what happened to my sibling Lemon Drop and me. We were abandoned in a vacant house. The next-door neighbor brought us to The Animal League. How thankful we are that he did! We are safe and well-cared for here. We are the cutest balls of fur! Playful, too! And do we ever love to be petted! We need our own humans to show us their devotion to a bonded pair of brothers who love to eat, play and sleep with each other. We need each other…and YOU! Will you come to meet us?  We are waiting to show you just how dashingly handsome we are and cuddly, too!

Hi… my name is Raindrop,

Adopted with Bonkers 6-2-23

How thankful we are that he did! We are safe and well-cared for here.  And we are the cutest balls of fur!  You must come to meet us! A pretty and friendly girl, you will notice my gray and black striped markings. I crave a home of my own where I can display my charms. I am in search of chin scratches, belly rubs, and a bounty of toys. I would love to meet you! I’m ready for a journey of new beginnings.

Joe

Hi… my name is Joe,

Adopted 7-14-23

In my stately Tuxedo fur coat, I think a more appropriate name for me would be “Sir Joseph,” but you may call me Joe. That’s what my human dad called me. We were comfortable together, sharing a home with two other felines. Sadly, my human dad became ill and could no longer care for me. Fortunately, I was brought to The Animal League where he knew I would be well cared for until I could be adopted into my next home. Perhaps that’s yours? If you want a front-declawed, sweet-tempered lap cat who loves to be brushed, I’m yours! Although I may be shy at first with strangers, I can be kitten-like and playful once I feel comfortable with you. Please come meet me!

Hi… my name is Rosey,

Adopted with Joey 5-28-23

COMES WITH VET CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE

My pal Joey and I shared many happy years with our former person, but things changed, and now we must find someone new to love. As best friends—two little dogs who love, support, and keep each other company—Joey and I must go to the same home. I’m a 10-year-old, 10-pound Poodle mix female who’s been playful with kids, good in the house when our person was gone, and “asked” to go outside. I’ve also been told I’m friendly and very good at cuddling, plus I come with Vet Care Support for Life! Joey has lots of charms, too, and with two of us to love, we could double your pleasure, double your fun. And just think how grateful we’ll be to have a happy home again, together, with someone wonderful like you.

If you are considering adoption, please call TALGV office (520-625-3170) and make a date to meet me soon. Kennel appointments are between 10 and 2 every day.

Hi… my name is Joey,

Adopted with Rosey 5-28-23

Rosie and I are best friends—two little dogs who love, support, and keep each other company. We shared years of happy togetherness with our former person, but things changed, and now we must find someone new to love. I’m a 9-year-old Pomeranian male who’s affectionate, plays well, and loves to cuddle. On the practical side, in our previous home I “asked” to go outside and was good in the house when our person was gone. Of course, I believe Rosie is a sweetheart of a doggie companion (she says that’s mutual), and we’ve agreed that if you choose the two of us, we’ll do our very best to double your doggie pleasure and double your fun.  We’ll be ever so grateful to have a happy home again, together, with someone wonderful like you.

If you are considering adoption, please call TALGV office (520-625-3170) and make a date to meet me soon. Kennel appointments are between 10 and 2 every day.

Hi… my name is Lucky,

Adopted 5-21-23

If anyone has the right to lay claim to a name, that would be me! I was found, all alone on a dirt road, in the mountains of Rio Rico. Boy, was I a sight for sore eyes, dirty and covered with thorns and sticks. The lady who rescued me took me to her home where I met her canine family of three, a Husky, German Shepherd, and Golden Retriever. During my stay I enjoyed their companionship. Since arriving at TALGV, I’ve learned how to play fetch with my new toy. I’m a happy, affectionate, playful  fellow who can be protective of my person (barks at strangers). I’ll need some all-around training (house and basics), along with patience and unconditional love. If you’re ready to take that step, I’ll love and follow you anywhere!

If you are considering adoption, please call TALGV office (520-625-3170) and make a date to meet me soon. Kennel appointments are between 10 and 2 every day.

Hi… my name is Sophie,

Adopted 10-25-23

COMES WITH VET CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE

My human mom could no longer care for me and my brother, so we were brought to The Animal League. At my senior status, it is hard to adapt to change. Granted, The Animal League is a wonderful place with kind volunteers. However, “there is no place like home.” So, I’m adjusting as best I can. I have special medical needs and will need a loving person who will care for me for the remainder of my life. I come with Vet Care Support for Life which will help carry me through the coming years. I am hoping someone will adopt me so that I can once again have a place to call home. Will that someone be you?

Hi… my name is Lily Lu (aka Mila),

Adopted 10-24-23

I’m an almost 8-year-old female Staffie mix who’s basically a happy-go-lucky, people-loving dog! I’ve been good in the house when left alone, have asked to go out, can use a doggie door, and know a couple of commands. Even though I haven’t been a fussy eater, according to my previous owner I can’t eat carrots! I’m affectionate and playful, and as I previously mentioned, I love people but can become possessive of an individual. When it comes to walking on a leash, I do pretty well. I will need a strong, knowledgeable handler to keep me on the straight and narrow when meeting other dogs. In fact, I need to be your one and only pet! Don’t worry; as your loving, faithful companion, I’ll be all you’ll ever need!
