Hi… my name is Tonka,

Adopted 4-16-23

The caring human who found me wandering between Walmart and Old Nogales Highway brought me here, where I’m safe and can find my forever home. Two things TALGV volunteers noticed about me right away: I’m a sweet, friendly guy, and I like people! In my calm and easygoing way, I light up when a friend comes to see me. And when you say “sit,” “come,” or “down,” I know what to do.  “Stay” is a little harder because when you walk away, I want to come with you, but I’m learning.  I’m a one-year-old male with beautiful blue eyes, a copper coat, and a loving, gentle nature. People here call me a young guy with lots of potential. If you think we could be the best of friends, I’m hoping you’ll call me yours.

Hi… my name is Renegade,

Adopted 3-23-25

I guess I earned my name because I was found in the back yard of a nice person who knew what to do—bring me to The Animal League. We’re not sure how I got to be outside. Here I enjoy sleeping in a cubby, and I like it when the volunteers scratch my cheeks and brush me. I’m very handsome, with a grey striped coat. I’m still getting used to being here, and they are trying to fatten me up by tempting me with all kinds of foods. Evidently, I found a formula for getting some TLC! Are you ready for a mellow boy you can pamper? It’s me!  It’s me!

Boo

Hi… my name is Boo,

Adopted 4-16-23

Most of my life I lived in one home, but sadly my owner could no longer care for me. I’m a big, fluffy girl with beautiful blue eyes and a dark face. My hair is long, but I will purr if you brush me and I like petting. At my age my playful days are behind me, but I do come with Vet Care Support for Life to sweeten the pot. I would just love to ensconce myself on a soft bed in a quiet house—doesn’t that sound like heaven to you? It does to me. Come meet me and let me show you my charms. I will be your companion.

Hi… my name is Scout,

Adopted 4-20-23

When people found me roaming around in the area near the Dollar Tree, it was already after hours at TALGV. Since they didn’t want to leave me in the parking lot, they invited me to stay the night with them and their family dog. I’m a happy, outgoing boy and I’ve had no problem making friends. I like everyone! I may have had previous training because I walk pretty well on a leash, “sit” when told, and possibly know more commands. Just ask me! I’m at my happiest when I get regular mental stimulation and exercise. I enjoy a challenge! I’m very intelligent and energetic, so continuing training and participation in activities would make me one happy dog. So would a home of my own with a family who shares my enthusiasm for life!
