Animal League News

Hi… my name is Daisy (aka Niblets),

Adopted with Miko 7-20-23

I was rescued awhile back when I still had my kittens, and we all found homes after coming to The Animal League. I’m a little older now, but still quite a looker in my own right. I have fascinating coloring; I’m a torbie — somewhere between tortoiseshell and tabby —a combo you don’t see every day!  I also have quite a stately bearing (as you can see from my pictures), and am even more enchanting in person. I adore having my cheeks scratched. I do need to be an only cat. I’ll bet if you come meet me and spend just a little time with me in your lap, you’ll want our relationship to go on forever!

Syd

Hi… my name is Syd,

Adopted 10-6-23

Well, I was happy for a couple of years, but then Dad was moving and couldn’t take me along. That left me momentarily scared about my future. But now I’m back to my happy self. I’m used to being around people but I can be a little rough, so I’m not good with kids. I like to play, especially with plastic straws.  Plus, I’m very affectionate and love to be petted. I’ll roll over on my back and purr for petting! I’m still pretty young and very handsome with a distinctive white kisser. I’d like to find a home where I can show off my sweet disposition.  Come introduce yourself, and let’s get acquainted.

Hi… my name is Fabio,

Adopted 5-19-23

Same old sad story—Mom is moving and can’t take all her pets—so here I am! I’m still growing and have many years to make your home more fun. In keeping with my sex symbol name, I’m a cute boy in a tuxedo who’s dressed up and ready for the future. I love playing with toys and running around.  You can pick me up but I’m much too busy to want to spend too much time in your lap. When you come to meet me look for me on the cat tree, and step right up to say hello. To seal the deal just bring some kind of toy, and I’ll be yours.

COMES WITH VET CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE

I’ve had a few ‘homes’ in the past and haven’t found the right one yet. But now my hopes are high! My TALGV friends tell me I’m adorable, and they even think it’s cute that I need a nightlight at bedtime and prefer to eat my meals in bed. We dogs need exercise, structure, and companionship, and that last one is my favorite. That’s why I so appreciate the wonderful care, love, and attention I receive here—the playtime, walks, and, best of all, lots of cuddling. I’m a 10-year-old Chihuahua female with Vet Care Support for Life, who just wants a safe and loving place of my own. Maybe you’ve heard the saying “Nobody puts Baby in the corner.” Well, I say the only places I belong are in your heart and home.

If you are considering adoption, please call TALGV office (520-625-3170) and make a date to meet me soon. Kennel appointments are between 10 and 2 every day.

Hi… my name is Smokey-G,

Adopted 4-15-23

When I was just a few weeks old I was rescued from dogs and lived with a nice lady who had other animals–maybe too many animals, so here I am.  She says I’m sweet natured and very laid back. I’m affectionate and like to sleep next to you. TALGV volunteers say I’m cuddly and playful and will purr my satisfaction. I have a handsome charcoal grey coat with a slightly lighter-colored mouth. At my young age I’m ready to give years of entertainment and love. I just need the right person to come claim me! Can you come see if it is meant to be you? I’m ready when you are.

Hi… my name is Summit,

Yeah, I know, I’m super cute, right? I hear it all the time. You must know, I’m not just another pretty face; I’ve got energy and brains to match! I’m a friendly, house-trained, young girl looking for a permanent relationship with a family who understands we youngsters require daily exercise and mental stimulation in order for us to grow into well-behaved adults.  Walks or hikes with lots of sniff breaks, vigorous sessions of ‘fetch’, food puzzles, and teaching me new commands and tricks are some of the best ways to keep me from getting bored. Do you and your family like to be on the go? If so, we should meet! If you have another friendly, active dog, bring them along and let me charm my way into your heart – and home!

Hi… my name is Frank,

AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION WITH BONDED COMPANION FRANCES

I’m a happy-go-lucky, four-year-old, white poodle mix that was found with my bestie, Frances. It was dark and scary when someone noticed us in the road by Anamax Park and brought us here. If not for this kindness, I’m not sure if I could’ve protected Frances from the creatures of the desert or the cars whizzing by—but I sure would’ve tried. We are lost without each other, so we will need to be adopted together. Not to worry, though, our big hearts have room for you, too. TALGV volunteers say we are mellow, enjoy kissy-faced moments, other dogs, and children. We will need your instruction on basic commands but are so eager to please. Remember, great things come in pairs: shoes, earrings, Peanut Butter & Jelly, and, of course, . . . Frank and Frances.

If you are considering adoption, please call TALGV office (520-625-3170) and make a date to meet me soon. Kennel appointments are between 10 and 2 every day.
