Hi… my name is Peso,

Adopted 11-23-22

I’m a member of the money/currency litter, and I’m one handsome fellow. My littermates and I were found under a barbeque grill and brought to The Animal League. How thankful I am! The volunteers have attended to my every need so that I’m a happy, playful lad just waiting for my own human(s) to love. For several months I had that experience, but alas, one member of the family developed allergies so returned me. Did I mention I love to play? I do! Just give me a ball to bat or hold a string toy and I’m yours! After playtime, I like to nap on your lap. Please come meet me and see how I could enrich your life!

Hi… my name is Smiley,

Adopted 11-21-22

I am a petite young lady who showed up at a house in Tucson. So, not much is known about my early life. I stayed inside the laundry room until the kind people brought me here to The Animal League.  Since they could not care for me, that was a good decision. They said I seemed tame and didn’t bite or scratch them. Well, no. I behave myself because I want my own home. I love to be petted by the volunteers. I purr when I’m held close for loving. I’m really sweet, and I’m a beauty. Won’t you please come meet me? I have so much love to give you!

Hi… my name is Maxie,

Adopted 11-23-22

I’m assuming Maxie is the nickname for Max. I am “all boy.” I love to play. I love toys. I love people. I became too active for my senior mom to handle so she brought me to The Animal League knowing that I would be adopted into a good home. Could that be yours? I have lived with another kitten just fine. In fact, I prefer to play with another feline my age. Of course, you could charm me with a wand toy. I love to play! I have a great temperament. I’m just waiting for YOU!  Please come meet me and let’s see if we’re a match. I’d love to go home with you!

If you are considering adoption, stop in at TALGV to meet me soon. Or you may  call TALGV office (520-625-3170) and make an appointment. Kennel hours are between 10 and 2 every day.

Hi… my name is Athena,

Adopted with Boomer 11-13-22

I’m one half of a bonded couple; the other half is Boomer. When we first arrived at TALGV, we were rather shy. Once we got to know the friendly volunteers, we both relaxed and started to enjoy their attention and hospitality. Boomer and I have a lot in common. I, too, am very calm and loving, and I especially enjoy going for walks with my (as he puts it) soulmate. I know what “sit” and “come” means, and I also learned a new lesson, how to use the doggie door. Along with our humans, including visiting teens, we shared our home with the feline member of the family. A box of chocolates may be sweet, but by adopting two Chocolate Labs you’ll still get all that sweetness…no calories, just love.

Hi… my name is Boomer,

Adopted with Athena 11-13-22

I’m one half of a bonded couple, the other being Athena, my soulmate. We were brought to TALGV by our “dad” because he will be moving and can no longer care for us. I’m very affectionate and calm, love going for walks (leash trained), and understand the meaning of the words “sit” and “come.” I even impressed the volunteers by demonstrating my “praying” pose. Along with Athena, I shared our home with a member of the feline persuasion and entertained teens who came to visit. I’m quite the gentleman in the house when we’re left alone, and I’ve recently learned how to use the doggie door. You remember the line “Life is just a box of chocolates?” Here’s my interpretation: “Life is just a couple of CHOCOLATE…LABS!” If you like anything chocolate, you’ll really love us!
