Hi… my name is Jojo,

Adopted 11-13-22

I am back at The Animal League through no fault of my own. My past humans have had health issues, so they brought me here where they knew I’d be well cared for. And I am being treated wonderfully by the volunteers. But you know what I really want?  My own home where I can spend my years in the company of a person who will love and care for me. I love social interaction with my human! I may tell you in meows about my day! I love attention. I love to be petted and brushed (and I need that!). I love to chase toys. Would you like such a feline companion? Then please meet me!

Hi… my name is Penelope (aka Tiger Lily).

COMES WITH VET CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE

For the past six years, I have shared my home with another cat and my humans. My mom and dad said that I was very sweet and loving, although shy around strangers. They said I was laid back and enjoyed sleeping on the bed. Life was wonderful until family members became allergic to cats. Sadly, we were returned to The Animal League.  I am being well cared for here but long to have my own human to love in a quiet home of my own.  That would help restore me to enjoy cuddling with my person. Due to my age, I qualify for Vet Care Support for Life. Please come meet me! I’m waiting for you.

Hi… my name is Cleocatra (aka Princess Aurora).

Adopted 12-26-22

Don’t you just love my name? When I first saw it in print, I thought they meant “Cleopatra” so I assumed my regal role and haven’t lost it! I love to play (although sometimes rough). I am inquisitive, tending to get into things. Well, shouldn’t royalty be allowed to do that? I can be mischievous which is part of my charm. I love to cuddle briefly with my human. I have lived with adults and teenagers, as well another cat and dog. We all got along well until my humans developed allergies to cats. So here I am awaiting my own home with a human who will enjoy my company. Could that be you?

PS My baby pictures are shown at the end of the gallery

Hi… my name is Astra,

Adopted with Nova 10-17-22

Being a lost 1 ½-year-old female Lab can be a scary position to be in. Just ask me! Luckily there are friendly people out there who are willing to help. I was escorted to TALGV, where caring volunteers made me feel at home. I was a little shy at first! Then a couple of days later another Lab (Nova), who looked exactly like me, was brought in. Now we room together, and I’m no longer alone. People here believe we’re probably sisters, but neither of us will confirm this. I walk well on a leash and I’m very friendly, sweet, and affectionate. I use the doggie door and  recently passed “the cat test.” Personally I believe there’s a family out there just waiting for a girl like me. Hello! Your waiting is over!

Hi… my name is Aspen,

Adopted 4-28-23

I was a mere puppy when my “parents” adopted me from TALGV. I’m back because of a family illness and it’s become harder for them to give me the care every pooch deserves. You’ll soon learn that when I look up at you, I want to go out. When you come to visit me, you’ll probably notice I’m somewhat on the “chubby” side. We’re working on that! Yes, that means less food (diet) and more exercise (walking). On the subject of walking, a harness is recommended as part of my “wardrobe” because I tend to pull on my leash. I’m glad the monsoons are nearly over, because I DON’T like thunderstorms. I DO miss snuggling on the couch with “mom.” I’d really appreciate a good snuggle! Will you share your couch with me?

Hi… my name is Enchantment,

Adopted 10-22-22

Do you want a handsome lad as your feline companion? Well, please come meet me! I will enchant you with my greeting. I am a friendly guy and will reach out to you for attention. I will curl up to be “cute.” I love to be petted and I love ear scratches. I love attention. I find cat toys intriguing. I have handsome black and brown markings. I’m the complete package: good looking and friendly. I was found wandering around a neighborhood. Sadly, no one would claim me. So here I am at The Animal League waiting for my own home. Please come in to let me charm you! I promise to delight you!
