Like the story of Naomi in ancient writings, I am out of my native land. But where is that? I don’t know. What I do know is that I was found, along with my feline companion Ruth, in the Rita Ranch area. Found on a doorstep, we must have known that the homeowner would bring us to a safe place, The Animal League of Green Valley, to be cared for until we found our new home. Since I’m shy, you may find me in a cubby. The volunteers are introducing me to care and comfort. With patience, I could transform into a loving companion.

When I first came to The Animal League as a small kitten, I needed a bath and I handled it with calm. I also needed to gain weight and grow big and strong, and with the help of my foster mom I’ve done just that! I like laps and playing. I’m easy-going and get along well with other kitties. My coat is a beautiful black with a tiny spot of white on my chest. I’m a lovebug—and I’m growing bigger waiting for my dream home! Like a flowering magnolia plant, I need the attention and care of humans. I am receiving that at The Animal League after my rescuer brought me here. She found me abandoned in a house which she had purchased. When the previous owner moved out, he left me with food, water, and a litter box. That is not enough for a pet! I need human companionship and socialization. Not much else is known about my past. At nine years of age, I have much love to give. Despite being left to fend for myself, I am a sweet, beautiful lady who longs to share my life with a caring human(s). Could that be you? Please come meet me and hear my purr of affection!

I thought you might like to know that after my “dad” passed away and I had no one else, TALGV is a GOOD place to be. I get the attention and understanding I need, with a large dose of love thrown in. I am currently being successfully treated for a medical issue. I’m an affable boy, a Rottie mix who is approximately 4 years old. I’m at that age where I can appreciate the finer things in life like early morning walks (which I do very well), good food, occasional treats and naps, but mostly someone to love and share my life.
