Since I’m a calm, friendly gal, the people invited me to lunch before they brought me to TALGV. I’m an approximately 4-year-old Collie mix, and at only 29 pounds I’d make the perfect companion to blend right in with your family. I immediately made new friends with the volunteers. People noticed I’m a little too submissive, but with their encouragement, I’m on the road to becoming a more confident ME! Hear me roar! Just think, a dog with a title! That’s me! I think, as a 12-year-old German Shepherd mix gentleman, I’ve earned it. I love most people of all ages and get along with other dogs (lived with five of them), but I don’t like cats, and I’ll chase rabbits. I’m house trained, leash trained, can use a doggie door, and know how to “sit” when told. I’m a lovable, affectionate family dog who loves to go for walks, and is calm in the house, but I don’t like thunderstorms. Since I’m considered a senior citizen, I come with Vet Care Support for Life. If you take me home, I think you and I could enjoy each other’s company as long as you DON’T have cats.

Now they’re moving and can’t take us with them so I’m marketing my assets to you. Dad says I love to cuddle and am very gentle and sweet. I’m not very shy. I have a nice orange coat with a white chin. By the way, my name is pronounced “TEA-ree-on.” If you watched Game of Thrones, you’ll get it! Come meet me and let me do some direct marketing to you. When mom was evicted from her home she was left homeless—and so were her cats, including me and my siblings. Luckily for us cats a very nice man came to our rescue and cared for us until he could find new homes for us. Some of my siblings found new homes through him, but my sister Duchess and I were brought to The Animal League. Dad says I’m a little shy but will warm up quickly. I’m quiet and gentle and I like to play with Duchess. Like most cats, I don’t like loud noises. If I could wish for anything, I’d wish for a quiet home together with Duchess. Are you game?

Some of my siblings found new homes through him, but my sister Countess and I were brought to The Animal League. I like playing with Countess and I’ve come to love lap sitting. I will roll on my back for belly rubs. I have a sleek black coat with spots of white. If I could wish for anything, I’d wish for a quiet home together with Countess.

COMES WITH VET CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE

The shelter environment doesn’t highlight my best qualities. I’m VERY timid and I’m hesitant to venture out of my corner to play with toys and interact with the friendly volunteers. A while back a kind man rescued me from a colony of abandoned cats. He said I was gentle and shy but was responsive to attention, that I was friendly and liked to be petted. I’ve lived with other cats, but no dogs. I’m waiting for a patient person(s) who understands RESERVED felines. Will you give your heart to a sweet girl who really needs a home? An added benefit: Since I’ve been here for a while, I’m eligible for vet care support for life.

Yep! I’m a sibling of Countess and Duchess who were brought to The Animal League before I was. We were left homeless when our human mom was evicted from her home. Luckily for us, our rescuer brought us to TALGV. About me, he said, “Count is a gentle boy, adapts well to new situations, and speaks often in short chirps as if he has a language of his own. He loves attention and will make a good, cuddling lap cat. I think he would be good in a home with other cats to play with.” As a young boy, I have spurts of playful activity, and I have love to share. Please come meet me!
