Hi… my name is Seiko,

Adopted 1-2-23

When I first arrived at TALGV, I was an adorable puppy. Now I’m back and I’ve grown into a handsome young adult who’s crate trained, uses a doggie door and asks to go out. I know several commands such as “sit,” “come,” “down,” and “wait” etc., and while I respond to some, I need work on the others. I’m a friendly boy, but I could use help with my social skills (with people and other animals). I tend to play a little too rough when I get excited. I pay attention to my surroundings and take direction well (until I get distracted), and I need work focusing on my handler to improve my walking skills. I’m ready for a home with someone to love and guide me into maturity. Are you free for the future?

PS My baby photo is shown at the end of the gallery.

Hi… my name is Willow,

Adopted 3-12-22

I am part of a litter of six who came to TALGV when we were only four weeks old. Thankfully, we were very well taken care of by foster parents who fed us, kept us warm, and, most importantly, loved us. We are now ready to find our forever homes.  The resident dogs have shown me some of the ropes and I love to give them kisses as much as I do with my foster mom. Can I give you some and then you take me home?

Hi… my name is Poplar,

Adopted 3-21-22

I am part of a litter of six who came to TALGV when we were only four weeks old. Thankfully, we were very well taken care of by foster parents who fed us, kept us warm, and, most importantly, loved us. We are now ready to find our forever homes. I am the smallest of my siblings with a somewhat sad looking face, but my foster mom says that I have plenty of spunk and tenacity. When you are the smallest, obviously you have to eat the most and be first at the bowl! I have a rather spunky sister but I am learning to stand up to her. I mostly like to cuddle and be cuddled and give lots of puppy kisses (and receive them). Can I give you some and then you take me home?

Hi… my name is Mesquite,

Adopted 3-14-22

I am part of a litter of six who came to TALGV when we were only four weeks old. Thankfully, we were very well taken care of by foster parents who fed us, kept us warm, and, most importantly, loved us. We are now ready to find our forever homes. I am the only brown pup in a littler of black siblings. I love to explore (I once tried the cover on the swimming pool…) and was the first to follow “mom” outside to go potty. She says that’s very good for someone as young as me! Like all puppies, I love to give puppy kisses. Can you come to cuddle so I can give you some and then you take me home?

Hi… my name is Birch,

Adopted 3-15-22

I am part of a litter of six who came to TALGV when we were only four weeks old. Thankfully, we were very well taken care of by foster parents who fed us, kept us warm, and, most importantly, loved us. We are now ready to find our forever homes. My foster parents say I am a cuddle bug. I like to sit with them, be held, play with my sister and them. We got to meet a lot of neighbors and liked them all. I have learned to follow “mom” outside to go potty and she says that’s very good for someone so young! Like all puppies, I love to give puppy kisses. Can you come to cuddle so I can give you some and then you take me home?

Hi… my name is Cleo,

Adopted 12-12-22

Moving is hard. My human mom had to move in with her daughter who is allergic to felines so here I am waiting for another human to love. Mom said, “she has been an only cat. She will take a while to warm up to you, but once she does, she’ll want to be with you. She is the same with children or other adults. You just have to take it easy with her till she is comfortable with you.”  That is what volunteers are finding true. I’m scared and upset about my change in locations so am adjusting slowly. Please give me time to adjust to your loving care, and I will be your forever friend.

Hi… my name is Boscoe (aka Maurice),

Adopted 3-14-22

When I first arrived at TALGV, I was a happy bouncing puppy. I’m back…and I’m a big boy now, and once again I’m looking for a home…my forever home. There were no children in my former residence, just a dog and two cats. Even though I didn’t appear aggressive, I admit I chased and barked at the cats. I asked to go potty, and when my people left me alone, I stayed in my crate (at night it became my bedroom). I know the commands “sit,” “stay,” “wait,” “outside,” “in the house,” and “go nite-nite.” I enjoy car rides and walk well on a leash. I love to get attention and please my people! I’m an affectionate “gentle giant” searching for a home with loving people to share it with! May I share yours?

PS My baby pictures at shown at the end of the gallery.
