Hi… my name is Amber,

Adopted 3-16-22

When you gaze into my gorgeous golden eyes, it’s easy to see how I got my name. I’m a chubby gal who’s friendly, gentle, laid back, and I like toys and meeting new people. I’m happy to fess up to being in my “golden years,” but I don’t mind an active household, so maybe you can play with me to help me slim down? I promise to rub your legs, sleep on your bed, and talk to you when you scratch my ears, but I’m not particularly into laps.  If you’re looking for an easygoing companion who’s ready to love only YOU, won’t you come meet and then adopt me? You won’t be sorry!

Hi… my name is ZaZa,

Adopted 9-10=22

I came to the Animal League “in a family way” and the nice people here took care of me until after my babies were born.  It was stressful for me to part with them!  Added to my woes was an eye infection that resulted in me losing one eye. With all that behind me, and now that the babies have gone to new homes, I’m looking to settle down in a new home myself. I’m a happy, friendly girl who wants to be your companion.  I’m just waiting for an opportunity to charm my way into your heart—come check me out!  I’d like to find a stable home where my best qualities can shine.

Hi… my name is Smokey,

Adopted 12-28-21

A sweeter boy you will not meet! I am 7 pounds of love, and most of that could be fur!  But no problem! I LOVE to be brushed and turn from side-to-side to accommodate you!  Along with my feline pal, Joya, we lived with two Newfoundland dogs and our two humans. Sadly, our dad died and our mom could no longer care for us so brought us here. We enjoy being in the same room and frequently are found on the same cat tree. So if your home could welcome us that would be great!  Please come to meet us. We are ready to charm you with our gentleness and loving dispositions.

Hi… my name is Lola,

Rainbow Bridge 11-11-22

I am an old Chihuahua lady and yes, I know, my age shows. (It happens when you are almost 16 years old!) There are the usual aches and pains in the joints, and I’m getting a bit forgetful, too. I still enjoy short walks around the neighborhood though. My favorite place is on the lap of my person. I alert my people when I have to go potty, but sometimes they don’t understand as quickly as I need them to! Are you someone who would not expect too much from me, but can take me into your heart for the time I have left? TALGV provides my vet care support for life, so no need to worry about medications and such. Let’s meet and see how we like each other!

Hi… my name is Olaf,

Adopted with Harold 12-31-21

Such a distinguished name for such a handsome feline! Yes, that’s me. I’m a laid back, independent cat who may be shy with strangers…UNLESS you say “Olaf” in a soft voice and rub your fingers together and then I will come to you. I so enjoy being petted and will cuddle up with you. I sleep just about anywhere…under the bed, on the bed, or on the couch. Currently, I’m shy and stay pretty much to myself after being relinquished by my family (which included young children) who was moving to a place that did not allow pets. (How sad for them…and for me!)  Won’t you please come meet me? We could be great companions!
