Hi… my name is BlackJack,

Adopted with Masquerade 3-1-22

Several years ago, I joined the home of a human who had other cats, including Sam. Sam and I were brought in together, and he has already been adopted. I am a sweet and gentle lad. I love to be petted and groomed. I enjoy playing with wand toys. Just don’t startle me, especially around my face! Then I may hiss or nip at you, but I mean no harm. I need to feel safe and comfortable in my environment…don’t we all? Initially I am shy with strangers, but I warm up with your kind words and petting and treats. Won’t you come meet me? I could make your home so happy!

Hi… my name is Tank,

Adopted 3-12-22

I’m a Jack Russell Terrier mix, but who knows what the “mix” could be? Whatever it is, it just adds that special something that makes me the unique, personable dog I am today,… and proud of it! I walk pretty well on a leash, but further training would be a definite plus. I’m crate trained, know how to“sit,” and can use a doggie door. I’m definitely a “high energy” boy! I’ve been gentle and tolerant with children, but at times I get carried away and play a little too rough. One thing to consider, even with my short stature, I’ve been known to jump a high fence. I need an active person, who can harness my energy and teach me all of the basics I need to learn. In other words, I need you!

Hi… my name is Riley Boy (aka Riley),

Adopted 1-4-23

In my first life, I came to TALGV having been found wandering in a neighborhood. In my second life, it took a while to adjust to living indoors, but I fell in love with my human mom, so much that I was aggressive to my feline housemate. Another no-no was children and dogs. My human mom said I love to play with balls, window gaze and faithfully use a (sturdy) scratching post. In my third life, I lived with a senior couple who said I was shy, independent and skittish of loud noises. So, all that said, I prefer a quiet home with a patient person who will let me adjust on my own schedule.

Rocco is a sweet and soft-natured 10-year-old, 75-pound Catahoula/Hound mix male who needs a new home.He is crate trained, has good leash manners, and is obedience trained (knows “sit, ”stay,” “come,” “touch” and “shake”). He is housebroken and asks to go out. He is in good health, neutered, up to date on shots, and medical records are available. Rocco gets along with other dogs and would be best with older children; cats are unknown. He loves his soft ortho bed and only needs a short daily walk. He would be a great companion for a low-key senior. There is no adoption fee for this special boy. If you will welcome Rocco into a loving home as part of your family, please call Andrea between 10 AM and 7 PM at 520-367-5186.

Hi… my name is Kylo (aka Chase),

Adopted 2-19-22

Can you come and take me somewhere where I can run and play? I’ve been cooped up for awhile. It was a freak accident: I was having fun jumping around my kennel when all of a sudden my leg gave way. Would you believe it was broken? They put all kinds of pins and wires in there and then I got to live with my foster mom for awhile. That was pretty boring because I had to stay “calm,” but it was also nice! She says I’m loving and mostly obedient (although that’s not always my strong suit) and have learned to sit, come, and wait at the door. Maybe I’ll get to go home to a place with kids, so we can jump up and down together—and you know I would sure like that!

Hi… my name is Piano,

Adopted 3-11-22

Sad it is when we lose our homes through no fault of our own. Such was the case with me and my two feline friends. We lived happily with one another, two dogs and most importantly, our human mom. Sadly, she passed away. Her grandson, who lives in Pennsylvania, had a neighbor bring us into TALGV  right away, and we have been lovingly cared for ever since. I checked out health-wise and as you can see, I am a lovely Tuxedo lady! I am just waiting to meet you! Perhaps you and I could make our next years very happy and contented?  I would really like that!

Hi… my name is Naomi,

Adopted 2-10-22

Consider all the things associated with the number “7”: days in a week, wonders of the ancient world, continents, etc. My name is Miriam, and as a proud young mother, let me introduce you to NAOMI, one of my “litter of seven.” She’s an adorable blond Terrier mix girl, born in December just before Christmas. She and her siblings were staying with me in a loving foster home, preparing for life once they leave the litter, and move into their own forever homes. Now the time has arrived and I must bid her farewell. Take care of Naomi, and above all…LOVE HER!

Arrived 2-7-22. (7 weeks old)
