“Ran up to the house, was very friendly, and wouldn’t leave my hubby alone!” That’s what my rescuer said when I arrived in October. Since then things haven’t changed much except that I’ve had a few pesky health problems (that have cleared up), which unfortunately kept me out of the limelight for a while, but now that I’m out and about, you can come see for yourself what a love I am. I’ve been sharing quarters with several cats just fine, so I’d probably be okay with other felines too. At just over a year old, I know there’s a whole fascinating world out there, and I’m simply itchin’ to spend it with you!

I was having all kinds of fun exploring one day and, admittedly, lost track of where I was going and where I had come from. A nice person stopped and started talking to me, so I jumped in the car and eventually found myself at TALGV. I am a friendly Malinois mix also known as “Mr. Georgeous.” I already know some commands, learn quickly, and walk well on a leash. I like just about everybody so I am thought to also get along with kids, but I can be a bit exuberant. I do have a working dog’s brain and that means that I need a purpose in life! If you feel up to the challenge of giving me a home, a job, and the training and exercise I need, let’s meet!

My young friend Spice and I were unceremoniously “dumped” on Mission Road. Fortunately, a good Samaritan picked us up and took us to her home, where we stayed for 3 days before coming to TALGV. Not long after our arrival Spice was adopted, and went merrily on her way. I’m a 2 ½-year-old female American Bulldog, and just like my name I’m also sweet, but as sweet as I am, I need to be an only pet in my future home…no dogs or cats, please! I love getting attention, playing ball, and I can use a doggie door. I understand the commands “sit” and “wait.” I’m an adorable package of love just waiting for you to open up your heart, and take THIS package into your home.

Mollie

My sister Dollie and I are two adorable, fun-loving, and playful puppies. When we were outside all alone, a nice person took us in and cared for us for a few weeks. She taught us to tell her when we had to go potty and how to be good when left alone. We got along well with her children and even with her kitties. But the older dog who lived there didn’t care for us, so she had to bring us to TALGV. The volunteers say that we are really sweet, walk well on leashes for pups so young, and that we like everyone, showing our affection with lots of doggie kisses. Now we are looking for our forever home and if we could stay together, that would be totally awesome!
