Hi… my name is Leo,

COMES WITH VET CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE

My former mom is moving away and can’t take me with her. She gave me to a friend whose dog wanted nothing to do with me. At this stage of  life, I might prefer being an only dog! I’m a 12-year-old Chihuahua mix, and I’m in the market for a loving,    comfortable home where I can retire. Im even on Social Security, in the form of Vet Care Support for Life. It isnt easy to lose the home youve lived in for so long, and the family (two cats) you shared it with. Im small, so I wont eat much or take up too much room. I enjoy my naps, and its always a comfort to know that someone who cares is close at hand. Adopt me now so we can begin to enjoy the simple things in life, together!

Hi… my name is Tiger,

Adopted 12-28-21

Doesn’t this face just PLEADfor you to adopt me? I may not take the prize for the world’s most handsome guy, but what I lack in looks, I more than make up in personality. If you look up “tomcat” in the dictionary, there I’ll be. I obviously had a life “on the road” once, and although my mom (who died recently) had me neutered long ago I still have that “hunky guy” look! But after just a smidge of time with me, you’ll find I’m a lover par excellence who begs for tummy and chin/cheek rubs and purrs for more attention. I’m so hoping you’ll make YOURhome my new favorite hangout!

Hi… my name is Gracie,

Adopted 9-25-21

I’ll betcha you’ve never heard of MY breed before! Since most Russian Blues are shorthaired, when they checked out cat breeds, there I was, a Nebelung! We’re pretty much alike in looks and temperament, but since I’m a “first” at TALGV, they decided to add a little something “special” for me. Not that I’m not special anyway, ‘cause I’m a sweet-natured 13-year-old, declawed lady who still has quite a few years ahead of me to share with you (and I have Vet Care Support for Life, so there’s that, too). Since my mom went into a nursing home and her daughter couldn’t keep me, I’m hoping that you’ll give me a new lease on life.

If you are considering adoption, please call TALGV office (520-625-3170) and make a date to meet me soon. Kennel appointments are between 10 and 2 every day.

COMES WITH VET CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE

If you’re looking for a perfect older, settled feline to spend time with look no further than me. I’m a sweet-natured 13-year-old, declawed longhaired, blue-eyed, flamepoint Siamese lady who’s gentle and loving. Although I’m getting up there in years, I still have quite a few ahead of me to share with you (and I have Vet Care Support for Life, so there’s that too). Since my mom went into a nursing home, and her daughter couldn’t keep us, I’m hoping that you’ll give me a new lease on life and fulfill your goal of one good deed for the year, ‘cause I know life will be grand for everyone!

Hi… my name is Jerome,

COMES WITH VET CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE

All you need to know about me is that I LOVE people! Although I lived with another cat once upon a time, when I went to my second home I became aggressive with the resident female and, truth be told, was really unpleasant to her. I’m a charmingly marked tabby and white 11½ year old, who was allowed outdoors and from the looks of me, I’ve had quite a bit of exercise gallivanting about, and could use a pound or three added to my frame. I’m hyperthyroid, so need a pill a day (I have vet care support to pay for them), so I’m ready for just you and me to enjoy those touted “creature comforts.”

If you are considering adoption, please call TALGV office (520-625-3170) and make a date to meet me soon. Kennel appointments are between 10 and 2 every day.

Hi… my name is Cami,

Adopted 9-3-21

In the winter of 2018 I was found wandering alone and scared in Tubac. A patient man lured me with food and took me to TALGV. I’m a 6-year-old female Boxer who hopes to find a home with caring people and a canine buddy. I was gentle with my adopted family’s grandchildren and tried to befriend their dog. But when he just ignored me, I got depressed and stopped eating. They worried about me and brought me back. Now, in my foster home, my doggie “sister“ has taught me “down,” “crawl,” and how to use the doggie door. We love snuggling together. My foster parents say I’m skittish when hearing loud noises like slamming doors, but I’m not a barker. I’m shy at first, but ultimately I’m known as “the affectionate love bug.”

Hi… my name is Tostito,

Adopted with Felix 10-20-21

When you’re just a kitten (well, a teenager now), it’s not surprising that my person said, “She loves toothbrushes, things to climb, sleeps on a bed, in the bathroom sink, or under the kitchen table, and is very comfortable around dogs (a Jack Russell and Rhodesian Ridgeback) and another older cat.” OK, the cat wasn’t crazy about ME, but you can’t win ‘em all! So, their loss will be your gain when you let me capture your heart. I’m the best variety of cat (in my humble opinion) – a classic brown tabby – so surprise yourself with how much happier and full your life will be with me in it! You’ll never regret it – guaranteed!

My baby pictures are at the bottom of the photo gallery.
