Some cats take a relatively short time to adjust when they find themselves in new situations, but as a senior (with Vet Care Support for Life), I’m taking longer than usual. That’s because I prefer men, and there aren’t too many male volunteers in the cat wing, so this adjusting thing is taking quite a while. My dad’s health was failing, and mom could no longer care for me, so everyone hoped that I’d find a new “guy love” quickly. Mom said that I like treats, lots of water (especially with ice cubes floating in it!), and like to cuddle when I’m in the mood. The volunteers are working hard to get me over this hump in life, so please check back on my progress!

Mexican beach towns usually engender only happy thoughts, but for me, it was a struggle for survival. How happy I was when a wonderful woman rescued me and took me to her vet. He said that I was malnourished and that my injured back leg had healed. Somehow, I landed in the caring confines of TALGV where it was discovered I was pregnant. A kind foster took me in and helped me raise my kittens (which have all been adopted). My foster said I did NOT like dogs but got along with other cats, did zoomies and occasional love bites. I have lots of love to share! Please come meet me. I’m waiting for YOU!

COMES WITH VET CARE SUPPORT FOR LIFE

When I first arrived at TALGV my left eye looked so bad they took me to the veterinarian who performed necessary surgery and removed my eye. I’m doing quite well, thank you! I’m recuperating in a great foster home where my foster parent reports that I’m polite, well mannered, and a “pure joy” to have in the home. I’m very affectionate, love people, and I’ll happily welcome everyone. I know the commands “sit,” “stay,” “shake,” and “no,” and walk very well on a leash. I can be curious about other dogs, and I have good manners with them. In fact you can ask the home’s resident dog, who’ll tell you that we get along great. When I’m ready to leave this home (with Vet Care Support for Life), I’ll be ready to enter yours, so please put out your “WELCOME” mat for me!
