I believe everyone needs the love of a dog to complete a home. Since I’m ready, willing, and able you might want to consider getting to know ME. I’m a young Hound mix boy who’s full of life and understands the commands “sit,” “wait,” “off,” “leave it,” “place,” “let’s go,” and “free.” Even though I occasionally need reminders to pay attention, I walk well on a leash. I enjoy car rides, but I shouldn’t roam free. I’m somewhat curious about other dogs. I’ve enjoyed “pack” walks and supervised buddy playtime without incident. I’m also young and rambunctious and need a strong handler. I want and need that special kind of love that’s mixed with “discipline and structure.” With love like that…how can we fail!
NOTE: Norman has been social, tolerant, and playful when meeting other dogs in TALGV’s playgroup. He would like to meet any resident dogs before adoption to your home.

You’ll understand how much I loved being around my person when you hear that I was only returned to TALGV because my elderly mom was tripping over me! I was sad to leave her, but I do understand that I could have caused a real disaster with my love-seeking. I LOVE attention, preferring to be the only pet in your life; no other cats or dogs, please! Mom said that I can’t jump very high but like to drink out of a faucet (so maybe you could give me “a leg up”!) I know I sound full of myself, but the reason I say that is because everyone here at TALGV seems to feel the same way. I was lost; then I was found… in the area of Pima Mine Road and Nogales Highway. That’s a scary place to be, especially when you’re as small as I am. Now I’m safe and sound in the room people here refer to as “the den.” I have my own bed and play yard, I get to go on walks, have two meals a day and all the love and attention I could possibly desire. But I still need a new forever home. Only people with love to offer need apply!
