Hi… my name is Gucci,

Adopted 12-5-20

Hey, it’s not just humans that are sorely tired of being quarantined – my friend, Dior, and I are too! Shortly after we arrived, we ended up with bouts of ringworm and had to be isolated for weeks until it cleared up (and I had a bum leg, so needed a cast too) so we didn’t get a lot of that wonderful hands-on people time. Now that we’re both good as new, we’re still living in just one room (but we’re allowed visitors!), so I’m imploring some wonderful person to give us homes where we can have a WHOLE HOUSE (and windows!) to ourselves where we can become the loving companions we were meant to be!

Hi… my name is Mr. Bert,

Adopted 8-6-20

Comes with Vet Care Support for Life

It’s hard for many cats to adjust to new lives when their owners die, but it’s doubly hard on us seniors, and it’s certainly true for my housemate, Gracie, and me. It’s not easy for a big (20 pound!) guy like me to keep a low profile, but I’m doing my best! The volunteers tell me that things will be okay one of these days, so I’d really like to believe that. I’ll bet it would be lots easier for me to adapt to a new home with Gracie by my side, so won’t you consider giving two sweet, quiet, older felines a new start? (Oh, and we both have Vet Care Support for Life!).

It’s hard for many cats to adjust to new lives when their owners die, but it’s doubly hard on us seniors, and it’s certainly true for my housemate, Mr. Bert, and me. I’m a little more outgoing than he is, but I’m still pretty shy and am discombobulated at the moment. The volunteers tell me that things will be okay one of these days, so I’d really like to believe that. Adopted June 30, 2020

ROSIE is a gentle, sweet, and affectionate 18-month-old, 25-pound Cattle Dog mix female that needs a new home because rescuer can no longer keep her. She is housebroken, spayed, and shots are up to date. She has some obedience training: knows sit, let’s go, get in bed, and outside. She is crate trained but could use more practice with leash  walking. She rarely barks and loves lots of chew toys and being petted. Rosie is okay with other dogs and cats; children are unknown. She can be shy with new people and may do best as an only pet (preferably with female).

There is no adoption fee. If you will welcome this loyal, faithful girl into a loving home as part of your family, please call Sydney between 9 AM and 10 PM at 520-625-4344.

Hi… my name is Marley,

Adopted 6-28-20

My former owner had to work long hours, thus she couldn’t give me attention I need. I really don’t like being left alone for long periods of time and since I’m still a puppy, I tend to get into a lot of mischief. She said I’m a great companion and quite protective. I’m gentle and tolerant with children but apprehensive with other animals. I’m especially calm around children with disabilities. I know how to use the doggie door and ask to go out. I have little experience on a leash and I only know limited commands. I need basic behavior training and less time alone, to become the perfect boy for any home. If you think you might be interested in the future with a great pooch, please make an appointment to meet me.

Hi… my name is Kassie,

Adopted 7-5-20

I have never been as afraid as I was on that deserted road, with not a single soul in sight. When a car stopped, a lady got out and picked me up, it was then I knew my life was going to change for the better. She kept me for two days then brought me to TALGV where I met many other people who made me feel right at home. I’m a female Chihuahua mix, approximately 5 years old. I can’t explain my life before, or how I came to be in the middle of nowhere, but I can tell you that I really need some love and security in my life. If you are interested in sharing yourself and home, please call the office and make an appointment to meet me in person.

Hi… my name is Jewell (aka Oboe),

Adopted 7-26-20

Looking for something special? Well, I’m aptly named, so look no further. After mom became ill, my dad no longer wanted to care for my housemate, Monster (no reflection on his personality) and me, so, bingo – just like that, our lives changed. Dad said that I’m playful, kittenlike, bold, and outgoing, but you have to come meet me to see what a total love I am. And gorgeous too! I have classic “ticked” tabby fur, and simply ADORE being petted (I’ll turn upside down so you can reach every spot), so I’m betting I’m the kind of companion who’s a real “lap junkie!” Why not give this 4-year-old, declawed, lady a new lease on life?
