My litter of nine babies and I were found abandoned on the street in Nogales, Mexico, and then brought to TALGV to find homes. My puppies are not yet ready for adoption, so they are in foster care for now. I am in good health but due to the strain of nourishing my family, I am quite emaciated and am grateful for the good meals provided by my new friends. (I may be skinny, but my heart is full of love.) My foster mom reports: “She’s pretty much house-trained and appreciates air conditioning. She wants to know where her person is and loves to ride in the car. She walks nicely on leash but may freeze if she sees a big dog, even from a distance. I lost my first two moms to assisted living facilities, and happily a lovely lady adopted me a third time, but I was terrified of the big dog, so I need one more chance! My most recent mom said, “I need to rehome our sweetheart because she deserves a better life. She’s a good cat, well behaved (no clawing), not a big meower, has an easy purr, and isn’t fussy about her food. Anyone who loves cats will LOVE this one! Anyone who doesn’t love cats, well, they’d love this one, too! She has a piece of my heart.” AND I have vet care support for life, so let me steal a piece of yours!

It’s pretty sad when your own brother rejects you, but that’s what happened to me after I came home from a visit to the vet. I guess I must have picked up some sort of “aura” that turned him off, ‘cause he was really serious about not wanting anything to do with me. So here I am, an extra large bundle of love, hoping to find a new place to call my own. Mom said that I love snacks (you can tell!), to be petted and brushed, and play with a laser light (maybe a longer stint with that would help slim me down!). I hope you’re looking for love, ‘cause I sure am!

Whew! After five years of adding to the feline population (think of how many kittens I’ve had in that time!), I’ve FINALLY finished with all that and am SO ready to have my own life! Happily, after my last litter (all of whom have been adopted), I got to come to TALGV where they quickly took care of spaying, and now here I am, getting used to “three squares,” lots of attention (humans are so cool!), and finding that looking over my shoulder and foraging for food is a thing of the past. I’m a charming, outgoing girl who’ll be eternally grateful for a loving home where I can be top cat for a change!
