I’m a 1-year-old female Staffie mix. When you first meet me, you will immediately notice my majestic ears; secondly you will probably notice my “unique” feet. Don’t be concerned; I’m not handicapped. They are part of the original equipment that I was born with. I enjoy walks and leash training is presently one of my lessons. I do walk better on a flat surface such as sidewalks, etc. I’m a very affectionate girl that loves to play. I’m really good at the game “find it” and when playing with a ball, I will be more than happy to trade it for a treat. At first I wasn’t sure about cars but once I got in, I was thrilled to see the places we could visit. I’m a nine-year-old female Chihuahua that has recently had surgery and dental work. Now that’s taken care of, I’m ready for a new adventure. First on my list is a forever home with someone who would appreciate having me in their life almost as much as I would appreciate them in mine. Secondly, even though I’m in my retirement years, I might be willing to share my life and play time with a companion. Before I came to TALGV, I used to spend time in a play yard with another dog. I’m a mellow, affectionate, fun-loving guy who needs to lose a few pounds (who doesn’t?). Let’s go for long walks so we can both get in shape. I’m a strong boy, so I’ll need someone who can handle me. I’m house trained, leash trained, and know how to sit. I think pools are really fun especially with my toys. I don’t know if I like cats, but I like to play with other big dogs. On a recent outing, I found out I’m not allowed to drive, but I’m just as happy being a passenger. In the grand scheme of things, eight years isn’t all that long to spend with someone, but to my mother, Tofu, and me it seems like forever because we look like “Siamese twins!” That’s why we were both so sad when our beloved dad had to go into a nursing home and give us up. He said that I like stuffed toys, people, being brushed, and sleeping on pillows, so given that I also have Vet Care Support for Life, you can’t go wrong with Tofu and me (Dad specifically asked that we stay together). Given that we’re both “people cats” (and a matched pair of lovers), taking us both shouldn’t be a hard decision!
