Tux

Hi… my name is Tux,

Adopted with Ziti 4-5-20

I guess some people forget how active kittens are, even as “teenagers”! My friend, Ziti, and I went to live with a couple when we were still in the fluffy, adorable stage, but since they worked long hours, they finally decided that they didn’t have enough time to spend with us, and felt another more “doting” home would suit us better (they said THEY weren’t a good fit, not us!). Dad said that I’m really playful and a great “support cat” for Ziti, who’s a bit laid back, and that I love laser lights and playing in my cat tower. I’ve got my paws crossed that two bonded companions are exactly what you’re looking for!

Hi… my name is Dallas,

Adopted 5-25-20

Note: Dallas comes with Vet Care Support for Life

Wouldn’t you love to meet an active and lively 10-year-old bundle of wagging tail and loving kisses? The thing you will really notice about me, after my wagging tail and brindle coat, is my bright blue eye and then the brown one. Its so pretty people stare at me and make me uncomfortable. I’d prefer your love so I can give you my undivided attention, show you my basic commands, and wag my tail at about 90 mph. Get a little closer and I will shower you with kisses. My handlers say I am awesome, sweet, loving, and very responsive. I really like it here, but a special human of my own would be even better. Did I mention I come with Vet Care for Life? Let’s meet and explore the possibilities.

Jax

Hi… my name is Jax (aka Tampa),

Adopted 6-2-20

Comes with Vet Care Support for Life

Wouldn’t you love to meet an active and lively bundle of wagging tail and loving kisses? I’m a handsome 8-year-old brindle boxer mix overflowing with love. My foster parents believe I’m a perfect indoor dog! They say: “Jax is the kindest, obedient, loving furbaby. He barks rarely and loves walking and car rides. Jax’s owner will hit the jackpot!” My handlers say I’m a joy to work with. I like other dogs, especially my mother, Dallas. Show me treats and I’ll be your best pal, eager for whatever you have in mind. The important thing that’s missing to me is my special human to love. I’m looking for someone to have adventures with; maybe that’s you. Did I mention I come with Vet Care Support for Life? Let’s meet and explore the possibilities together.

Hi… my name is Estrella,

Adopted 7-1-20

My name means “star,” and in this case that comes in the form of an adorable 7-year-old Lab mix girl. The lady I previously lived with thought I was a little more “dog” than she could handle. I can sit when treats are involved, and it seems I know the command “leave it” when distracted. My foster Mom said that I love people and like most dogs. I’m house trained, use the doggie door, and walk well on a leash. I like car rides, but I don’t behave well when I see people and dogs on the sidewalk, so we’re working on that little problem. Some basic obedience training would be helpful. Please consider letting me become the star that could brighten your home and your life.

Hi… my name is Sierra,

Transferred to Lab Rescue 5-2-20

I’m a tall, 18-month-old Lab mix girl that’s now attending classes so I can present myself in a ladylike manner. After being dropped off (dumped), found, and finally brought to TALGV, I needed help settling down. I am learning how much fun and relaxing it is to sniff out treats that have been well hidden throughout the room. Even though it seems like a game, I get instant rewards for a job well done. I’m becoming comfortable with each of my trainers who reinforce (non-verbally) the basic commands I’m being taught, like sit, wait, find it, catch, down, and say hello. It seems I’m not only good looking but I’m also intelligent. I’m hopeful that, with continued training, someone will notice me. If you’re willing and patient, that someone could be you.

Hi… my name is Bella,

Adopted 3-8-20

High Five! A nice lady found me and brought me to TALGV. I stayed with her and her two dogs for a couple of weeks, but we found I did not like sharing with her other girl dog. I did get along fine with my finder’s male dog, though. The first thing you notice are my big radar ears, then my pretty brown and white pinto coat. I am housebroken, know all the common commands, and play fetch. I have impeccable leash manners, so just say the word and I’ll jump in the car to go for a hike with you. I have a bit of an alpha personality, so I’m picky about my dog friends and probably prefer to be an only dog, or perhaps share with a submissive male dog. But I do so love playing with people. I’m pretty laid back, even here in this strange environment. Come on down and say Hi, so we can work out a deal and shake on it.
